The only reason why it probably has "traction" is that it would be a trade to PHI. Makes no sense with IT in place.

lol do you remember that clip of 2006 draft war room with BC talking to Ainge on the phone trying to get information on Marcus Williams and why he was slipping? BC wondered why he went after Telfair instead.

I'm paraphrasing here, but I think it went something like this.

BC: Why no MW, why go after Telfair?

Ainge: Thats not fair

BC: It is fair, I need some help here, I need some information. There's nothing background wise I should be worried about?

I bet Ainge is loving toying with BC.

I see Brown, Dunn and Hield all being interchangeable between 3, 5, and 7, with Bender falling somewhere in between.

I can see Boston massively reaching for Jaylen, then Dunn going to Minny to replace Rubio and Hield going to Denver beside Mudiay.

Conversely, I can see them taking Dunn, the Wolves picking up Brown and Denver gets whoever is left between Hield and Murray.

Or, as rumored above, Boston takes Hield, then Bender falls to Denver or something (not that I know why they'd take him, he's not a good fit next to Jokic). Either way, I don't know if Dragan Bender falls to us with teams like Phoenix and Denver in the market for a 4. What wouldn't surprise me is if Denver passed on him that Sacramento does too. They already have Cauley-Stein and Boogie, Bender would be an awful fit there, at which point he's ours for the taking.

I just keep praying Chriss or Bender fall...come on SAC take Baldwin or Sabonis!

I know that players avoided workouts in SAC but I really don't think that's going to stop them from drafting whoever they like in the end.

Which is why LAL will yet again win a draft.

I keep saying it but Ingram is the guy that PHI should take.

I believe Wolstat just posted this on the Sun website (he is a hometown guy so you'd think he'd "somewhat" have a pulse on whats happeing with the Raptors.) If what he says is true. I think it about making as much space to bring back Biz.

The way Ryan Wolstat sees the draft unfolding:

1. Philadelphia - Ben Simmons - Too much skill to pass up but lacks jumper.

2. L.A. Lakers - Brandon Ingram - Needs to get bigger, but scores with ease.

3. Boston - Kris Dunn - All-around stud, but duplicates Smart a bit.

4. Phoenix - Dragan Bender - Immense talent, but a risky pick.

5. Minnesota - Buddy Hield - Desperately need a lights-out shooter.

6. New Orleans - Jamal Murray - Ideal fit with Holiday future uncertain.

7. Denver - Marquese Chriss - Could go higher. Will take time but intrigues

8. Sacramento - Jaylen Brown - Skills must catch up to immense athleticism.

9. Toronto - Jakob Poeltl - Expect this to be dealt for cap room/pick.

I think Simmons might be the most overrated pick ever. Don't get me wrong he will be a decent player, but I doubt a superstar and the way the media talks about him he is the next "choosen one" . I watched a few of his games and he was alright. I feel Ingram will be better.

WTF get outta here Wolstat lol you don't trade a lottery pick just for cap space...the #27 sure.

PHI is gonna sorely regret passing on Ingram.

I feel that Bender will drop to us. The consensus top 8 isn't probably the top 8 we think they are.

That would be idiotic. Trading 9th overall for cap space to resign biz who plays 20 minutes a game and has negative offense. I like biz as a backup defender but lets be real here.

Chriss has a promise from Phoenix at 4 apparently.

Also I dont think Ross/Carroll have negative value. (like having to attach 9th pick or even 27th pick)

I think Bender/Chriss are most likely to drop because most of these teams don't want to take huge risks. Only teams able to take risks above us are Nuggets and Celtics. I think celtics trade the pick so Nuggets are the team we have to worry about
