Getting Noel for Knight would be disaster, that would solve one problem but creating another one. We'd then have Chandler/Noel/Len who will all get paid 8 figures. Noel/Len would likely see at least 14mil a season. Get Okafor, he's younger, and can score.

DeMarre Carroll to the Suns

First things first: this is a farfetched trade. Phoenix could really use some defense and three-point shooting at the wing. If Toronto has soured on DeMarre Carroll after an injury-riddled season, they could use him to move up five spots to number four. It really comes down to whether or not that is enough compensation to move up to four and if the Raptors have their eye on one of the players projected to go around four or five.

There is incentive for both teams. The Suns already have a lot of young players and could use some guys with some experience and leadership. Toronto could want to get younger and save money for the open market. There is also the incentive for Phoenix because they were awful on both ends of the court last season.

2015-16 Offensive Rating Defensive Rating eFG% Opponent's eFG%
Phoenix Suns 102.2 (28th) 109.0 (25th) 48.7 (26th) 52.3% (27th)

P.J. Tucker is still under contract for next season, but Carroll would be the unquestioned starter of that group in an offense in which he could thrive. Last season, Tucker was the fifth-worst starter in the league in Net Rating at -7.8, so even though the Suns also need help at power forward, they may also want to get two players out of the deal: Carroll and the ninth pick. The Raptors are already dangling their pick for the right price, but I think they could also use it to move up to draft Chriss.

Chriss would be an intriguing target for the Raptors if they can go from nine to four. He almost certainly will still be there at four, and the Raptors are really lacking a good power forward to pair with Jonas Valanciunas in their frontcourt. Moving up to draft the Washington product could be the answer. Chriss is only 18, but he is hyper-athletic and has a lot of upside. He posted a 58.5 True Shooting Percentage in his one year at Washington, and while he is still raw, the Raptors could use some young athleticism at that position. https://m.numberfire.com/nba/news/9388/3-nba-trades-that-could-happen-on-draft-night?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=dlvr.it_nF#_=_

#4 for DeMarre Carroll? Grabbing at straws...
I would rather have Bender/Chriss/Dunn

That's going to look like a better deal with this rising cap.

There is nothing wrong with Chandler's contract. Big men are historically overpaid in the NBA anyway but with the salary cap rising, his contract is not bad at all. Harrison Barnes might get 20+ million a season in free agency so I doubt Chandler's 3 years and 39 million left on his deal is going to scare teams away.

Even though LeBron has already said he's going to stay in Cleveland, over 20 teams can offer him more money than Cleveland can. That is crazy.

Would love to meet some fellow fans. I am in the EV but would happily meet at Chino and buy my own.

I'm in the EV as well. Waiting for my buddy to confirm when he is off work. Any watering holes around the EV you recommend? (My folks live out here, I'm just visiting)

Some scouts have Dunn as the next star point guard of the NBA and a real two way player. If that is true and he could be that good, Nerlens Noel is not nearly enough for him. Noel has played two years now and not shown any kind of star potential. How much better will he get? Is he ever going to be as good or better than a player like Ibaka. If Dunn is the next Westbrook or Wall with great defense, would you trade him for a guy like Noel? There is no way imo that Noel is worth that kind of potential player. Role playing, shot blocking centers can be had later in the draft. You give up Dunn and you might lose a franchise player.

Which is why I will be pissed if Dunn is available & they pass him up for Chriss. Chriss will be a decent player, not a star imo. Having watched alot of him in college.

No matter what I think, and you guys know I can visualize any pick becoming a HOFer, I can't get excited about Chriss.............I don't know why? He does nothing for my spidy senses. Btw, the bastard hangs on the rim via a pull-up after every dunk.

We are getting two offensively challenged future All-NBA defenders, they can be the elite role players that actually give us an identity, both will be worth retaining when their rookie deals are up. But rather get a pick back than Thaddeus

I imagine it would spell the end for Len (whether it be in the same deal or another one). It would mean we'd be fixing the semi-mistake we made in the draft.
Chandler I'd expect us to keep.

If that happens my first joice would be move chandler. If not possible Len has to be flipped for a 1st rounder.. Can't give him away like that lakers pick.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

So Nets really thought Bledsoe for Young was fair, and then trade Young for the 20th pick...
