I'm praying that Chriss goes at 3 . Those rumors of Dunn at 4 would be ideal for me. Either trade Bledsoe or the pick.

Chriss is the only person I have to really convince myself to like. Dunn, Hield, Bender, Brown, and Murray I am just straight cool with. I don't like Chriss lack of length at all.

I would go Buddy and figure out a way to make it work. it isn't like he an Booker has to come out of the chute playing defense from day one. Steph and Klay didn't come into the league as heralded defenders, now all I hear is how great Klay is. If Booker is 6'7, why can't he slide down to the 3? Dude is a baby, do you know how much thicker he would be at 23-24?

Anyone watch the Draft prospects from Media Day on the Suns FB page? Chriss one of the first thing he mentions is he likes the weather and then he liked the hotel he was staying at. Like what the hell man...

I say we go after Noel. Trade knight with it. Obviously try to steal someone else out of it as well but if we can do that and keep Len... I would be all for it. Move chandler for a pf or c. Have Len start at pf and Noel at center and then just rotate them like we do our two pgs haha. Hopefully tho we only have one of after this draft. I see Archie being a decent back up pg.

As far as draft goes I say draft Murray and Beasley and have them be out spark off the bench. Move knight for a pick and chill.

For all the guys that are singing for Hield and J. Murray I keep going back to the famous saying by Red Auerbach, "You can't teach height." Both Hield and J. Murray are small for their natural position of shooting guard and both of them dont have the skills that Booker has. At least with Chriss or Bender you have some biggest that can learn more about to play the game but you cant teach Hield and Murray how to grow another couple inches.

Buddy already debunked that. 6'5 in shoes with a 6'9 wingspan an 35 plus vertical and 212lbs with a 8'5 standing reach.... I guess you think a SG should be the size of Durant.

Nav, you need to slow down on your speed reading, your skills aren't what they use to be. A few pages back I recanted on this. I actually had someone get cynical with me for saying Blake, Amare and Chriss had pretty much identical measurements and athleticism.

Even when I watch Chriss's strength vids I can't help thinking of him going right down the court and stupid fouling his man.

The fact that he fouled out 15 times in 34 games is incredible. One game he fouled out in 15 minutes haha.

But I thought Chriss lacked motor, and energy, and effort?? How do you foul our of 15 games with no effort?? Did he get a bunch of standing around or accidently tripping over himself and fall into the ball-handler???

No, he fouled out because he needs coaching in how to NOT foul when playing defensively....

We are going to draft another low IQ player who doesn't know or wants to pass the ball and does not have a clue about being a team player.

Perfect description of Hield...thanks! 16 shots per game, PPR of -4.85, A/TO of .66. Yep. That's what we need on our team right there for the SG postion, I tell ya...

Bledsoe--16 shots PG
Knight--19 shots PG
Booker--14 shots PG
Hield--16 shots PG

Let's put them all out on the court together with Len and see how that works.

Hield had one of, if not the worst, A/TO of any of the Guards this year...but hey, he shot 45.7% from 3 this year, following his 36% last year. I'm sure that 45.7% wasn't an outlier at all.

Yep, what we need is another Ball dominant Guard on our Roster--and the funny thing is, Booker averaged 3.8 assts per 40, Bledsoe? 7.2. Knight? 5.4

Hield??? 2.3, and never averaged more than 2.9, his Freshman and worst year statistically--he was more of a 'team player' then, then he was as a Senior.

Hield is a "me, me, me" player if I ever saw one. Please, PLEASE, Mcd, do NOT pick another ball dominant Guard ESPECIALLY at 4. I'd take Dunn over Hield--easily--and Dunn scares me for a slew of other reasons, but at least he LOOKS to get his teammates involved. Hield played for himself and his stats, and that is all.

BW. I am wanting a guard, because if the Suns prefer Chriss over Bender, there has to be reasons....maybe he is more hype? And the Earl Clark failure that was brought up has me afraid of Chriss now AND that was the year Curry came out and MJ died. So Prince has died this year and Hield is coming out and we are thinking about another project player.......creepy....

No but I dont see any sense in wasting a pick on a player who is worst then the person starting there when you need someone to fill in at an open spot. Both Hield and J. Murray may end up being good players but they are not going to good players riding the bench behind Booker, Knight, Goodwin and next year when Bogdanovic comes over they will be behind him. Booker and Hield dont have size (both in mass and height to play small forward. So you are basically saying you want to spend the 4th pick on a role player who will only play at most 18 for the foreseeable future. No offense but how is it that you cant see that while Hield may be a nice player he wont be one one the Suns?

If it was my decision, I would be ready to offer a pick for Thadeus Young.
Some Western Conference teams are after him and I believe he and Teletovic could be a great couple of versatile PFs and especially in the WC he could be a better player.
I followed him this year, always liked him, and think he would be a nice addition.

I prefer ending up with Dangelo Russell, Young and Maker/Diallo, than selecting three young players with Booker, Bogdanovic (2017), Goodwin and Warren already here.

Well I think we have all talked #4 and #13 to death but with the other two picks that the Suns do you think that the Suns will surprise us with someone here. A name that I havent seen much before that I can see the Suns picking up is Patrick McCaw and work to turn him into a 3D small forward. Who else might surprise the fans with late picks?

I really like:

Deandre Bembry, SF (probably gone by 28, though... )

Ben Bentil, PF -- Should be able to come in and play immediately

Caris LaVert -- Injuries aside, he's an awesome Combo Guard

Pascal Siakam -- Ideal Bench PF, IMO--Excellent Rebounder.

Robert Carter JR, PF -- Probably my favorite on this list. I think he has starting potential at the 4. 74% FT shooter, 33.3% 3PT on 3.4 attempts per game. .62 and .59 TS% and eFG%, 6'9", 7'3.25 Wingspan , 251 lbs--love this dude, and if we take him at 28 or 34, that will 'win' the draft for me regardless of who our other picks are.

Jake Layman, SG -- Solid bench 3

Gary Payton II -- IMO, could develop into a starting PG. His shooting is even worse than Dunn, but good facilitator.

Guerschon Yabusele, PF -- 42.6% from on 1.8 attempts per game. 76.5% FT shooter. 6'8" 250-270lbs.

Joel Bolomboy, PF -- Monster Rebounder, decent shooter (70% career FT%)

Jared Uthoff, PF -- EXCELLENT shooter for a PF--38% from 3 on over 5 attempts, 81% FT%, has a bit of T-Rex arms, though.

Marcus Paige --Ball-dominant PG, but pretty good shooter from 3 and FT (career 37%/82%)

Georges Niang, PF -- Career 38% from 3 on about 4 attepts per game. 80% FT last 2 years.

Those are guys that I kinda like, late.
