I'm hoping McD can come out of this draft with Bender & Brown...*somehow not trading Knight in acquiring Brown.

BW. I am wanting a guard, because if the Suns prefer Chriss over Bender, there has to be reasons....maybe he is more hype? And the Earl Clark failure that was brought up has me afraid of Chriss now AND that was the year Curry came out and MJ died. So Prince has died this year and Hield is coming out and we are thinking about another project player.......creepy....

First off, Chriss isn't Earl Clark; so because one athletic SF/PF failed in the past, we should never draft another one?

OK, with that logic, we shouldn't draft Hield because Marshall failed here. Yeah, Marshall was a pass first and Hield is a ball-hog, but, hey, they are both Guards, right?

Enough with the Earl Clark comparisons--that wasn't during McD's Tenure. McD looks at prospects differently, and has different draft strategies from back in 2009--7 YEARS AGO....

So if a plane crashes and I am going to fly that day and I was a little scared you couldn't make sense out of that? Doesn't mean its going to happen, but it is okay for me to be concerned right? Especially when odds are he is going to fail.

Don't forget the Bledsoe tweet. We might go Hield and sign Barnes. That's not a bad team, especially when you throw in all of the unknowns of the players. You know exactly what you are getting in Hield, a "one trick pony" that has one helluva trick.

Actually, it is--that's all Offense, no Defense. And again, Why are so many taking the 25% evidence as ground truth over the other 75% evidence that says he's not as good as his senior numbers indicate.

It's like what was reported yesterday, or the day before; last year at this time, Hield was a 2nd Rd prospect at best, and Chriss wasn;t even really on anyone's radar.

So I'm being fair here; I would LOVE the Chriss pick, but the evidence against him is strong; he wasn't a top player last year at this time, had one good shooting season, but that could be 'fool's gold' just as much as Hield is.

Honestly, right now, and I indicated as much on the poll, I would "Reach" for Ellenson at 4. Then I'd go either Davis or Sabonis at 13. And if not another PF at 13, I sure has heck would grab a Niang, Carter, Jr., or Brice Johnson at 28 as a back-up in case Ellenson doesn't workout out (or Chriss, if he is the pick).

I know, my opinion is highly unpopular, but that's what I'm feeling right now.

Its entertaining and better that what we have now. Sorry it isn't a title contention team. Smh..

No point getting Ibaka if the Suns arent fixing other holes... It just makes them more of treadmill team.

They have to have to another plan to bring in a better fitting player.

No but I dont see any sense in wasting a pick on a player who is worst then the person starting there when you need someone to fill in at an open spot. Both Hield and J. Murray may end up being good players but they are not going to good players riding the bench behind Booker, Knight, Goodwin and next year when Bogdanovic comes over they will be behind him. Booker and Hield dont have size (both in mass and height to play small forward. So you are basically saying you want to spend the 4th pick on a role player who will only play at most 18 for the foreseeable future. No offense but how is it that you cant see that while Hield may be a nice player he wont be one one the Suns?

Gambo has said it a ton, Booker is now 6'7. Doug also mentioned putting Booker at the SF. If Booker grows to be 7'0 are you still going to play him at SG because he was drafted at that? I can't understand why it is so hard for people to understand that the NBA is position-less.

If you trade Knight and the #13 for Okafor or sign Barnes.
