GarPax: new phone who dis?

Needs a 3rd team who highly covets Ibaka(but not Butler) + Payne + some more assets OKC doesn't have.

Dion Waiters sign and trade

I spit out my water when I read this.

But LBJ thanked DJ for backing out so we could get RJ but we gotta thank OKC for helping facilitate and orchestrating us getting Shump/JR/Timo. If OKC isn't willing to accept Dion Island, Shump is most likely not in CLE along with JR.

LOL, Ibaka is a one yr rental and is UFA next summer, and given he did not play so good last yr does not help, hard for me to gauge his worth. What does OKC want most, cap relief? player?pick? I'd sign and trade Crabbe for him and maybe send Vonleh as well

My guess is cap relief and an established player. But it really depends a lot on what our strategy is moving forward. If he does get traded, the return should tell us a lot.

His style of play is appealing to quite a few in the organization.

On a personal note, a roster of...

Ricky Rubio / Tyus Jones
Zach LaVine / *Andrew Wiggins*
Andrew Wiggins / Shabazz Muhammad
Serge Ibaka / Nemanja Bjelica
Karl-Anthony Towns / Gorgui Dieng / Nikola Pekovic

I think they'd be looking at players more than picks, but really I have no idea.

I want to say that you're describing Houston, but I honestly have no idea what the direction is for this team now.

With Sam Presti, I really have no idea which direction he would go, he has shown a pattern for trading veterans for draft picks in the past, so it is an interesting situation. Is there anyone your local beat-reporters have shown that they like? I could see Jamal Murray or Buddy Hield (University of Oklahoma?) fitting very well on that team.

I think every team wants him

Been saying this was a possibility for 6 months. Can't say I'm excited about it, though.

Making way to reunite Love with Westbrook and get something back for KD saying he wants to leave.

Trade Ibaka to POR for Aminu + filler (player + picks)

Durant signs 1 + 1 for 24ish mil.

KLove for Durant straight up later this summer, KD waives no trade to go to CLE.

Presto.

Nobody in the draft, all established guys.

Is there a counter-offer you think OKC would make to this deal, or do you not see enough on our roster for the talks to proceed from there?

I honestly try to avoid discussing trades involving the Magic on T&T.

Multiple Dallas sources (Fisher, Skin, MacMahon) saying today that Dallas and Dirk are upset that Parsons opted out and that they will not be making a max offer to him(this is a change from what we were led to believe) and that their new top priority is a Conley/Whiteside combo. I can't see either one, but Conley has agreed to listen due to respect for Carlisle and Whiteside is giving Dallas a meeting at the start of FA.

So its good to see the Mavs passing on a player who might sign with htem to pursue ones who won't. Again. But it appears the Mavs summer plan is out there now.

I wonder if Danny Ainge could squeeze enough value from Philly for the 3rd Overall Pick that he could forward to OKC in a 3 or 4 team deal for Ibaka.

I just think Nerlens Noel-Serge Ibaka-Jae Crowder-Avery Bradley-Isaiah Thomas has great defensive potential.

Something where OKC gets the best consolidation of 16, 24, and 26 in addition to Robert Covington and cap savings while Boston gets Ibaka and Noel then Philly gets 3rd Overall and a fourth team sends a veteran to OKC for the 16, 24 and 26.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Would OKC do Middleton for Ibaka?

The sign Evan Forunier and draft Wade Baldwin at #10.

G - Wade Baldwin
G - Evan Fournier
F - Freak
F - Jabari Parker
C - Serge Ibaka

That looks dirty.

OKC would. The Bucks wouldn't.

I love Serge, but I would pack his bags and drive him to the airport if we could get Middleton.

A good defensive team but who is scoring all the points and who's your go to guy in crunch time? They're still left with the same problem.

This team, offensively, could prob barely avg more than 92pts/game with that Starting 5. What is OKC gonna do with all those picks when they're trying to convince KD to stay and contend with SA/GSW/HOU/LAC for Western Conference supremacy.

They gotta replace their bench unless they're mistakenly bringing back Dion Island. Not knowing KD's situation kinda sucks for OKC when it comes to dealing with the draft because what they do is going to dictate how they proceed with all the other moves they need to do.

At best, if they can move Kanter and/or Singler's contracts for 3-4 rotation pieces/depth, that would be a coup in itself.

If Boston can somehow wind up with Ibaka & Okafor I will be ecstatic.
