I still think Bogdan is going to be a good NBA player, but we needed young bigs.

He's also going to be a 25 year old rookie next year.

That trade for Pick 8, helped a lot in my eyes..

Chriss is the type that has the tools, body (muscular build) to be an x-factor player.
I thought Pick 4 was too high for him, but Pick 8 is about right.

Sad that Bogdanovic was included, but maybe thats why he decided to stay in Europe... lol

From what I can tell, other than drafting Bender, we traded 13, 28 and Bogdan Bogdanovich for the #8 and took Chriss.

Don't get me wrong, I like the trade. I think it's an amazing deal for the Suns.

I just think people are underrating what we gave up in this deal. Bogdan is a great player.

Anyone complaining about this move is being ridiculous. Suns could have taken Chriss at #4 and nobody would have blinked. Getting both Chriss and Bender while basically giving up the #13 and a Euro stash player is a great deal. McDonough killed it in this draft. Two more major pieces for this team to build with. Bender can contribute right away while they can develop Chriss over time. Both have very good upside.

I love that kid, he is basically the next Amare for us! So glad we got him. Seriously, the kid has amazing potential.
