Makes no sense to me either. This is a deep draft. Sounds like a move to stay safe and save your job as GM so we can stay mediocure. Not a risky move.

Please tell me there is more to the deal yet to come out. Otherwise, I'm incredibly beyond disappointed.

EDIT: I mean, heck, wait until the dang pick is coming up to see who falls to 22.

Hornets have full bird rights to C.Lee, so they don't need to create cap space to retain him. And Batum is the starting SG.

Jared Dudley is a UFA, same age, same career 3 pt avg, better defender known high character guy, shot 42% from 3 in playoffs & made $4 Mln last season. Who on this board wouldn't rather have Jared Dudley, and you can sign him without trading an asset?

I don't get it. There has got to be more to this story. There just has to be.

My issue is value. In a vacuum, he's not a bad addition. He's just not worth the 22, especially after seeing what Thad went for. There has to be better value coming back or else this is just not worth it.

Woke up early for the draft only to find out we traded 22 for Belinelli. Ugh.

Belinelli only shot 38.6% from the field last season, and 30.6% from three. He also averaged only 1.9 assists in 23 minutes per game. Good heavens. I hope they have another trade in mind.

I agree with the guy who said Daniels is a better shooter and overall player.

Man that lamb signing is really killing us. Now this is just a compounding error. Now we've got $12-$13m spent on two crappy SG who can't defend. And we blew our first round pick... what the heck were we thinking we could have lee or lin for less than these two garbage players. Brllinelli is pretty bad i can't believe we just traded a first round pick

Got swindled by the kings lol.

This was a very curious move. Some questions as to whether bellinelli is even still a positive player. He wasn't very good for the spurs imo. He was awful in Sacramento

You can't take anything away stats wise from the Kings...they are a horrid situation

Definitely not a source, combination of prognostication and logic.

Marco would be fit in Clifford's motion offense like a glove though...
from Cho and Clifford's perspectives, it makes all the senses...

I watched a fair bit of Kings' games last year for the lulz. He missed a lot of open shots in those games.

Seeing all these reaches early in the draft makes it so so many quality players will be there at 22. This is probably the worst trade of the Cho era.

Some guy who was second team SEC got drafted. They must be serving idiot soup at NBA offices these days.

I'll be interested to see whom Masai Ujiri drafts. Sometimes it's someone even the scouts never heard of.

Malachi Richardson. We could have had a player with some promise.

Just woke up. This guy need some coffee before the game, so he won't sleeping on defense. Nice shooter, except last season, but he is definitely not worth the 22nd pick.
