also he's better with the ball. he will be playing a majority off the ball. Much less effective like that. He played bad with Payton. He thrived as the lead guard with the ball.

I don't think people understand how much of an upgrade Oladipo is over Roberson. Roberson was an absolute black hole offensively. He was one of the main reasons why the Warriors were able to exploit them in games 5-7. They actually have offensive threats at every position, plus Oladipo is a two-way player, and they added more shooting in Ilyasova. Ibaka really fell off, and Adams/Sabonis/Kanter is a solid rotation of bigs.

Why because Ibaka's 11PPG shooting 18 footers isnt there anymore?

He played huge in the playoffs and had been apart of their core for awhile. IMO if you trade him you look for a clear upgrade...this aint that

It's a great trade for the thunder no matter what, they got younger if they end up having to rebuild and frees up some cap space if not
