Was thinking about that and wondered what the reaction was that night. Now, that was 5 spots lower but still your point is well taken.

I wouldn't think he's more than two years off in age from what they say.

Some reddit poster have proof he's 23 years old.

I'd buy that proof if it wasn't just a cropped picture. Show the whole page or show proof that it is indeed the high school class they are claiming it is. Just a random picture with a claim isn't proof of anything.

That's me. I'm both excited and terrified by this pick. All i saw was clips of him playing against mostly little white kids.

We would have gained more assets and probably have been able to unload MCW or Monroe in the process.

I really feel as though Maker would have been available at 20.

Why do we need to "unload" MCW or Monroe? Both have net positive value.

I don't get how him being a school photo is proof of something?

there's a reason why he's skipping college

Because he's a top 10 pick without wasting a year and millions of dollars to play for free in college?

Seriously. I don't believe for a second he's not 19. He has a legit story and his aging in his pics looks completely natural. Not buying it in this scenario.

You realize this guy just said he'd take Denzel Valentine over Buddy Hield.

So?

1) Tjarks is legit
2) It is quite possible that Valentine ends up the better player than Hield.

I guess possible, but which is more likely.

It's like saying Thon Maker possibly is better than Ben Simmons.

Possible? Likely, probably not. As an "expert" he sounds certain that Valentine is better than Hield. I love Valentine too.. but Im not sure on that. I think i'd rather have Hield. Shooting in the NBA is paramount.

I was going to post do we have a rule that says we need to draft teenagers in the first round but that guy doesn't look like a teenager.

Valentine is a great shooter. We're talking about Valentine, right?
