I wasn't even in the yearbook my senior year of high school, so I'm still 17.

Some reddit poster have proof he's 23 years old.

I'd buy that proof if it wasn't just a cropped picture. Show the whole page or show proof that it is indeed the high school class they are claiming it is. Just a random picture with a claim isn't proof of anything.

I don't get how him being a school photo is proof of something?

Everyone around him is now 22-23 years old. Susan Chuot is an AFL player born in 1992

He's skipping college because of the sleaze that's been his handler for the last 5 years. Wants a quick dollar now.

Didn't you hear him speak? Doesn't he strike you as a....
...remarkably poised young man who isn't allergic to books?

I'm in. Swing for the fences.

We'll have plenty of time to make the safe move when Giannis and Jabari and Middleton are ready to chase championships.

That said, Thon being even just a few years older than he says is different than him being 23.

Can't lie. I'm feeling like I did in 2008 when we bypassed Lopez for Potsie. And John Hammond was involved in both.

My only solace is if Maker actually hits, he could be a great player whereas I never felt Potsie had a chance of anything.

But yeah, I'm depressed.

How do we know she's not actually 26 though :reporter:.

That would be an exception to the rule of a connection actually working in our favor, because he is a good player. His fluid athleticism and explosion around the rim are next level, so is his nose for the ball, and he plays unselfish. Just has to keep working on his shot, but his form isn't busted.

That said, in a way it would still be alarming if we drafted him, because big picture it just reinforces a major problem in our f.o.

How can ANYONE have a firm opinion right now? Can we at least wait until the summer league before beginning to form our opinions? I love the consternation regarding professional sports drafts - all of them. Everyone knows everything that's why when they do those "redrafts" 3 years later they always look exactly the same as the real thing. Right?

Figured this guy was just an urban legend.

I shall dub him Slender Man.

Sabonis. Felt he was a safe ten year vet.

Look I may not have the credibility of a Reddit poster but I think I can settle this with this pic Thon just sent me:

Deyonta Davis is really sliding, that's surprising to me.

raws wrote:Why do we need to "unload" MCW or Monroe? Both have net positive value.

Since we are trying to get rid of both of them this offseason, I would call it "unloading" them. Not really a bad term.

They are both positive trading assets that's why it was probably possible to trade up from 10 to 6 or 7.

Not to mention he is the next Yi.

If you love a guy, you take him. All it takes is one team. Those two 2nd round picks you get for moving down will be no consolation prize if a team takes your guy because you got cute.

Clearly, we loved Thon because we took him where we did.
THIS x1 million to all the "should have traded down" advocates.

BrewHoop has some Hammond quotes:

http://www.brewhoop.com/2016/6/23/12020226/thon-maker-nba-bucks-draft-jason-kidd-john-hammond-ben-simmons-brandon-ingram

We know he's going to do everything he can to be the best player he can be. We don't have to teach him how to work, he knows how to work.

He can stretch the floor right now. Give him a little time to gain some strength and we think he has the chance to be a special player.
