I like our picks this year than last year. Can't wait to see Ingram and Ivica play. Surprise the NBA guys.

Interesting, so we had him in the early 20s ahead of guys like Skal.

Zubac is a bit of unknown because he's had little to no seasoning at all at professional level, all his hype comes from under 18 tournaments where he basically abused kids with his large frame. However his hands are amazing kind of like Bynum he catches anything and finishes very creatively around the rim. Love his skill level but he's going to get more more than 4 minutes a game for about 2 years. I hope we sign him to a 4 year deal at cheap because his first few are basically an apprenticeship and he'll start showing his value from years 3 onwards.

obviously the kid was disappointed, wouldn't hold it against him, he'll bounce back once summer league comes around

problem is agents media and AAU coaches get these kids so hyped up they can't see straight, think they're guaranteed first round picks... then draft night comes and all of a sudden they realize the media, AAU coach and agents aren't the ones making the choices, the pros are, the guys who do this for a living, the guys who see real basketball talent on display night in and night out

it's not a very deep draft and he's not that great...

we saw a lot of movement, teams drafting for other teams, then you have team a like the Celtics with so many picks they can't use them all so they're moving stuff around... And since it's not a deep draft we had a pile of euros drafted that will probably get stashed for a couple years just because that's the safest play on the night for some teams...

First round picks are all guaranteed contracts so you have to be sure about the player so basically I think what we saw was a draft that after the top 10 or so we saw more than a few teams drafting because they have a draft pick to use but not so sure of who to use it on or if they want to commit to a contract... Wouldn't shock me to see more of these picks moved around as teams try and sort out who got what

It'll be interesting to follow these guys through the offseason and see where they land and then look back on tonight and se how many of these guys actually stick

Zubac's a big boy with a big frame. A good solid year with world class level trainers and chefs will chisel him down some and increase his strength and agility. At least now we got a legit big man prospect and im excited to see what he brings to the table, at the very least he's not some beanpole with delusions of granduer but a true big who's got the mass to bang around in the paint.

I heard that the kid is super shy and reserved. Maybe that's why it comes off as if he has an attitude.

His injury history kind of worries be, but at 32 I think it's good to take risks. Welcome to LA.
