Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Knight and Bledsoe are going to be the ones shepherding these young bigs on offense. Let's hope having a couple of big targets will get them passing.

Overall, it seems like a good draft for us. I'm very happy with the picks and moves. I'm a bit bummed we won't see Bog in a Suns' uniform a year from now, but it is what it is.

Wilbon's mistaken, we took him at 28 for the Kings as part of the deal for Chriss

ended up being Bogdan/Skal/Greek Center/2020 2nd rounder for Chriss

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE JUST DRAFTED TWO 18-YEAR-OLDS. DON'T TURN ON THEM AFTER A SEASON OR TWO

Chad Ford's analysis

4
Phoenix
Dragan Bender 7-1 216 PF
Croatia
Analysis:
I love this pick for the Suns. They have a huge need at the 4, and Bender is the prototypical new stretch 4 in the NBA. He is a very good shooter, and he protects the rim, rebounds and can guard multiple positions. I think Marquese Chriss has more upside and could make the Suns regret this pick, but Bender is a safer pick.

8
Marquese Chriss 6-10 233 PF
Washington
I'm a big Marquesse Chriss fan and a little surprised he slid to No. 8. I'm even more surprised the Kings would reportedly trade him for No. 13, No. 28, Bogdan Bogdanovic and a 2020 second-rounder. None of those players will have Chriss' upside. For the Suns? Great move. They were debating Chriss versus Bender up until right before the draft. Now they get both. Chriss' athletic ability should allow him to play the 3, at times, next to Bender. I think the Suns got significantly better tonight.
