I am almost certain Kings will also get Jeremy Lamb in the Bobcats deal that sent Marco packing .

That sounds more like it. Lamb and Belly make roughly the same per year so no loss/gain financially.

Conley.
Or Rondo.
Or Lin. Soooooo many bigs for him to throw lobs to!
Anyways, so Divac played center, he knows centers.
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

Stick with Marquese Chriss at #8 and select the greek center with #22...
And I prefer the cap space for Curry's money (and role) than Lamb.

I don't know, I think the Kings can use that space over Lamb and didn't they kind of just draft his clone in Richardson?

Lamb is not coming, since that's the only reason, the deal couldn't be completed until the start of new season.

I'm curious as to why Vlade liked Malachi Richardson over either Luwawu or Korkmaz?

Re: Kings 2016 Draft
If the Kings trade Koufus our front court isn't that bad if you view WCS and Skal as PF' s
WCS/ Skal
Cousins/ Papagiannis

I don't see Skal getting minutes over Casspi at that position. But yeah, we're just a trade away from clearing up the front court.

Over Korkmaz, defense. Over Luwawu, I think it's 3pt shooting. According to DX, Luwawu had two five game stretches where he shot under 25%, and he wasn't a great shooter off the dribble.

Re: Kings 2016 Draft
I'm not as upset today. All Vlade needs to do is trade Koufus and things will look better....
Maybe Vlade's thinking is he has a better chance of signing Conley by addressing other positions in the draft. How would taking Baldwin strengthen his bid to sign Conley? Anyway I'm not justifying the move just trying to understand the mindset.

Y'all signed Derrick Jones to a multi year contract. He is a dunk god that has some nice skills. Problem is his ACT scores were disqualified at the end of the year and he had to leave early. Has the potential to be a total steal.

Cousins put up a tweet after he was drafted saying something like "My young boy". Apparently he may have put in a good word for the kid and liked the pick. They trained together in Vegas I think. He soon deleted it though because I'm sure the team was like "Take it down!" because he hasn't been technically traded yet. That's also why there is no mention from the Kings about him yet. They have to wait until July 1st to get him.

The more video you watch of the bigs the Kings got, the more you realize that under Joerger, there is a good chance they all play. Skal isn't too dissimilar to some bigs that have played under Joerger like Ed Davis maybe. Papagiannis is kind of like the Gasol type where having a dual spread/post up huge big combo is possible. They really do fit if you look at who the coach is now.

That would be cool. SL will be interesting. Lots of dunking. Hopefully enough shooting.

Didn't DAL want KK ?? And IF Vlade is correct, DMC and WCS will allow the Kings the time to develop Papa into the player they view him as.

Re: Kings 2016 Draft
I still think Papagiannis can contribute now. He's played pro since 14, he's the stinking Titanic, and he's mean. Watching more and more and I see a Gasol/Randolph combo (style wise) with Cuz and he that Joerger can play with here and there. It's Koufos that is the breaking point for me. I hope Papagiannis kills it in SL and they can move Koufos because there is no way that we fans can stand two lotto potential bigs getting crunched at the same time.
