See I just don't believe the bulls were asking for this from the celtics and then turned around and would take 5 and Lavine from the Wolves. Pretty ridiculous.

It's not clear the Wolves put Lavine and Dunn on the table. It might have been LaVine and 5 before Dunn slipped and then after Dunn slipped, the Wolves re-evaluated.

Well it wasn't straight up, but I didn't think too highly of any of the draft prospects, kinda figured it'd be used as sweetener in any deal we might have made. And it was.

Unfortunate that Ibaka's only signed for 1 year, here's hoping having his bird rights and being able to offer a 5th year to him is enough incentive once next summer comes around.

Hoping the Magic can get one of:
Durant (ha, but it's nice to dream)
Conley (improvement over Payton would add offense to our SL)
Batum (he seems to want to stay where he is)
Parsons (I'm not super high on him, but I can see the login in getting him)

We still have the room to get Conley and Parsons, and can use Fournier's RFA status to go over the cap to re-sign him.

I suspect some people around the league value LaVine higher than this board does. I also think we pump up Butler a bit more than we should.

And Thibs might have just been messing with them.

Some chatter in Dallas today suggesting Tyson Chandler is pursuing a buy out from the Suns and is interested in yet another stint in Dallas. I wouldn't put too much stock into this so I don't need all the Suns fans reminding me they don't need to this. But it does appear his unhappiness in Phoenix is still very real.

Still kinda expect Milwaukee to try for him given our supposed interest in him last year.

Trade wise as a whole I would have said Bellinelli and 8 for 13, 22, and 28 and Bogdan would have been a win for them.

The Bellinelli trade was a very good one, and they made a good pick with it... the trade at #8 where they could have taken Chriss or Ellenson to pair with Boogie was a serious fail.

HA, Ellenson is run of the mill bench fodder IMO. Chriss is a Sac native and jumps out of the gym, I was sad we passed on him but I'm OK with taking a 7'2" 240lb 18yr old with skill and can get up and down the floor. Just because you've never heard of him doesn't make him a bust. Vlade Divac is a basketball lifer, I'm confident he knows a good big when he see's one.

Switching out Bled is a nog go, but we might be able to add Len. That's getting a little rich, but to make it happen, we'd probably do it. I also agree that both DMC and Sacto could use some fresh starts/ perspective.
