He was the one guard from this draft that I absolutely did not want. So of course we took him.

Old freshman, who played like a very young freshman. Red flags all over the place:
couldn't get steals playing at the top of Syracuse zone
a lot of Kobe shots

This one actually hurts much more than #13 with Luwawu still available.

The guy can spot shoot or move off screens/curl and shoot. I think I'm more optimistic than you fellas are with his size, and range.

I think if he's on the court with Rudy and Cousins his percentages will go up as his shot selection should be limited now.

But he looks really good if you watch him play.

As long as he improves on his shot selection, become a better ball mover on offense, etc he will be a good one for us, imo. So, basically, he needs to tone down his chucking and hero-ball esque game plan. If a guy like JR Smith can play significant minutes on a championship-caliber team like the Cavs, Richardson could be find a nice niche in the NBA as an instant offense player. Although, I feel this guy will be a feast or famine or a coin flip depending if he gets hot with his J.

I guess they picked this guy over Luwawu because he was a better 3 point shooter. According to DX, Luwawu had two 5 game stretches where he shot under 25%, and he wasn't a great shooter off the dribble.

I'm just not a fan of Syracuse guys. He's not going to be ready to play an NBA defense and I don't think his ability to shoot the ball will make up for that. Would have much rather gone Luwawu with this pick.

Richardson had the 4th fastest lane agility test time at the combine. He'll be fine.

I think not being the best player on the team will instantly improve his game. Some guys are meant to be role players and in college are asked to do a lot more. I see potential of he buys into being a roll player.

Apparently Richardson has been working out with Cousins in Vegas. Hmmmm.

It'll require some work on Joerger's part. History shows Syracuse guys are not good defenders coming out of playing that zone.

The guy has great size for a shooting guard and is able to hit the 3. This was a great selection we needed a pick like this.

You know what I like about him is he is bold, he'll take the shot if its there without hesitation.

I'm thinking some of Ben as I write this too.

Yeah that's one of Ben's real issues is timidity when it comes time to fire without thinking.
