Now your just squawking to keep the conversation alive.
For the record I knew the Knicks weren't getting a 1st round pick, but with gaping holes in the roster and the need to preserve cap space for the 2017 free agent period I did have high hopes Phil would get off his **** ass and buy a couple of 2nd round picks so we would have some cheap players with talent who could develop into something more.
It's really not that hard to understand, especially if you watch college basketball, but I bet it passed by you like a breeze......
Couldn't by a couple. Maybe one. Look like the guys Phil wanted dropped anyway. 2nd rd picks were going for damn near the full 3mil we had to spend.

Yogi Ferrell to the Nets.
Nets are such a weird team name if you think about it. It's like calling an NFL team the Field Goal Posts.

It's so odd that other then the sixers who are actually gonna try to win some games this year the one team that's looking to destroy and rebuild are the nets who don't even own a pick
If I'm the Celtics I'm loving the Nets right now.. If I didn't know better I'd think they're purposely trying to make all the picks they give to the Celtics as high as possible

Is the $3M gone now or can it still be used in some fashion to make a deal work or buy a drafted player from another team?

also if you can see in the highlights he has a lot of kyle korver (who looked kinda dopey coming out of college) and remember Horny fixed his shot. What if Horny can get this kid to become that kind of shooter?
That's the EXACT same thing I saw too, Kyle Korver. When he pulls up at the top of the key each time, it's just like how Korver does it form-wise. He's just more athletic than Korver though.
The other thing is too, if he does manage to make and stay on the Team...Baker, Porzingis, and Melo at the top and opposite sides of the key will be a thing of beauty to watch.

I was reading a Celtics board this morning, and this was by far my favorite line in a thread asking fellow Boston fans to grade their draft:

I think Danny Ainge did okay given his constraints.

Fk Chad Ford, why should we get into this weak ass draft when we're constructing through free agency. He's hated Melo since 2011, he's criticized the Porzingis pick, he feels we whine too much, fk Chad Ford.

how is your starting lineup getting the tony allen treatment from the tip-off?
the opposing team should be able to get career highs in defensive rebounds when playing the 76ers.

Korver is 6 foot 7 though. Baker's only 6 foot 4. Makes it harder to get that shot off but, yeah he does remind me a lot of Korver outside of that.

You on the other hand 13 year ballboy can eat a D & catch the itis. Hold this block.
Congrats on being the 1st to achieve that.
I was talking about this same thing earlier with my friend, but the strong selling point I was talking about was being in the East with that lineup. KD will check out Rose this offseason and see where he is at Im sure.
That's the same thing I was talking with a friend to about yesterday as well!
The path to the Conference Finals is currently MUUUUUUUUUCH easier in the East than the West.
We also have a team that can take the scoring load off of him more than the Thunder (especially if we add passing Big men like Noah or Gasol). The problem the Thunder made in the Ibalka trade was the dual loss of of post defense, and they still didn't add another perimeter scoring threat (because let's be real, Oladipo is just a slightly above average scorer who derives most of of it from slashing). I mean just look at at his %'s:
- 43% FG
- 33% 3PT
- 46% 2PT
No wonder the Magic were so willing to part with him (a former #2 pick) AND another Lotto pick!
Our only real competition right now IMO are are the Warriors, who of poster Depth & Scoring, but not for East.
