Contract Guess: Joakim Noah
What kind of contract do you expect Joakim Noah to get in free agency?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

3 years - 36 Million. Year 3 will be a player option. He'll sign with the NYK.

I'd say Minnesota but he probably hates Kevin Garnett.

I think he'll be offered an average salary of 16-18 million per year.

Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Yeah there's an insane rumor about Grunfield attempting to wrest the mantle away from Billy King.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I like Noah man but that's ridiculous. If Noah gets a contract like that, it will set the price for Howard and Whiteside.

Whiteside's getting a max. Howard's going to be a question of years more than annual salary.

Guys with injury histories don't really think that way going into their last big contract.

I think his injury history will depress his market so he signs a 1 yr prove deal to taking advantage of next year's boom
I think Noah is like 9th or 10 best among bigs.

I'm going Dallas 3/48ish. We will miss out on Howard and Whiteside with quickness.

Re: Contract Guess: Joakim Noah
Of all the players I could have guessed for a team to be "prepping a max contract for", Noah would have been just about the last.

Saw someone reporting today the Wizards were going to offer him the max? That doesn't make sense on several levels, but...

Re: Contract Guess: Joakim Noah
That surely can't be true because that would be quite literally the worst contract ever by a long long way. It'd be such an extreme case of incompetence the nba should step in and remove the owner and all fo personal
