And I certainly can't see Brown -- too risky for the 3d pick. Imagine what we'd be saying if they'd picked Kris Dunn, Henry Ellenson and Brice Johnson in R1!!
Indy got Young for the 20th; we got Kieff for a top-9 protected?? Then again, Sacramento got a R1 pick for Marco Bellinelli !! -- holy moly!
The Orlando FO has lost its mind altogether.
After the draft we signed Sheldon Mclellan (could work out) and 2 guy who have no chance to play in the league. The Warriors signed Robert Carter -- who knows whether he can play, but wouldn't he have been sensible for us?
Two guys I pointed to as sleepers (Georgios and Maker) in R2 went in the middle of R1. Really, I don't know what to make of this draft. Nothing coming out of it to help us.
Yup, with all the extra picks they had, I was surprised Boston didn't make at least one 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 trade. I guess they're planning now on stashing a couple of their picks in Europe. The Celtics have a bunch of good solid assets, but they don't seem to be able to get that one shining piece to lead them to some post-season success.
They're stocking assets and lying in wait for some superstars to get tired of their situations and force trades. It worked once before.
