Makes me sad that DeAndre, Dray and Cousins will represent our country.

Stray thought- if Presti deals Kanter and Ilyasova for Love he's the GM of the year.

Wtf are the Magic doing by the way? Why the **** did they trade Oladipo and Sabonis and Illyasova for 1 year of Ibaka?(I know Oladipo is gonna be a free agent too, but DAMN that's a lot for a 1 year rental, considering Ibaka is UFA and will demand around 20 mils)
Good assessment:

I think they got blinded by the chance to trade for Ibaka and forgot they had Aaron Gordon on the roster already

Magic .... LOL. They suck

Great move for the Thunder.

TWolves are gonna be real tough in 2-3 years. Dunn was a great pick for them.

Why is it a great move for the Thunder exactly? Oladipo is redundant next to Westbrook. Is he supposed to transition to a spot up shooter now? I dont get the hype. All they did was get a little insurance if Westbrook walks next year thats about it, and it makes me think even more that KD is gone.

Yes. Olapido is an actual 2 way player that the Thunder have missing at the SG spot for years.

Olapido is not a terrible shooter. 33-34-35%'s from deep in his 3 years. All while shooting more than the previous years. I'd assume he'll be at 37% this year. Also, a play maker, can handle the ball.. People make him seem like a bust. I love the kid. Now the only weakness that they have is Ilyasova's defense if he starts. He's such an after thought he'll be fine.

Now, they coulda been better off signing a Courtney Lee is FA & keeping Ibaka, but I guess they don't have the $ for it.

Adams will hold down the paint. Ilyasova will open things up more their duo. Obviously its worse for their defense, but better for their offense.

This cannot be true...right?

According to sources, the Wiz are locked in on making a major offer to Joakim Noah. The Wizards are said to be willing to offer Noah, coming off shoulder surgery that KO’d him in January, a full maximum contract. His deal would start at $28 million and reach around $120 million over four seasons.

Just like that I think I would be okay with the celtics offering Barnes a max contract.

Ibaka balances out Vucevic. They have too many prospects there. Vic is improving, could become an all-star in OKC. But they might keep Fournier and make minutes for Hezonja- or they deal Hezonja/Gordon for Butler and think they can win the East.

They made an awful trade. Bottom line. Hennigan is a Presti guy and did his old boss a favor.

I really wanted a buffed up version of Amir's deal for Noah... overpay per year for some kind of options. Gonna bow out of that race now... if this is any kinda glimpse into what this FA period will look like, it's prob not gonna be pretty and I'm probably not gonna be happy with the outcome.

Hope Evan gets in on the gravy train, just not from us.
