This guy had Luwawu as the #4 player in the draft.

A lot of the analytics people loved our draft, Luwawu was top 5 in some to top 10 in most and Korkmaz high teens - Dean Demakis (referred to in that article), Don Yates, etc.

My goodness. Is Josh Harris 5'2? How can he be so damn short?

Harris is like 5'7/5'8, he just seems shorter because everyone else in the pic is 6'3 or taller.

Luwau has such a backpfeifengesicht, and I love it. People are just gonna want to punch him, and that will help our team.
Even if he is only good on defense, he will be one of the most annoying players to have to face in the entire league. He just has a permanent smirk on his face that makes him look so incredibly cocky. If he has talent to back up the look, he will be hated by players and opposing fans alike.
If he brings Garnett like attitude with that jerk hole face, its gonna be awesome.

For some reason he reminds me of JP Tokoto that can shoot. That is meant as a compliment by the way.

If he ever tightens up his ball handling, he can be really good. I think his shot will be there in the NBA. Good look, mechanics, smooth delivery. Has stud potential, at the very least, a spark off the bench.

There is excitement behind the second two picks...if they hit, it is huge for the franchise.

Is Zumoff gonna have to call him Luwawu-Cabarrot every time he shoots it.

I think Luwawu will end up sticking with him for most of his career. Diaw's full name is Boris Babacar Diaw-Riffiod

Yeah analytics people will probably love him because that team is build to boost their players value because as they are owned by the same agents that represent most of them apparently. Watched 3 games for his team and they double every pick and roll and play with an unbelievably fast pace (such a fun team to watch). He is a super smooth athlete, his decision making is meh especially on offense when he can be a little bit of a black hole at times. Not a consistent shooter apparently but I really like the pick for you guys and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being one of the top 3 wings in this draft.

Apparently a few teams were interested but wanted to stash him for a year or two, but he wants to come over now.

Yeah, with so many teams trying to maximize cap space and not pay the first round salary this year, players looking to play right away were slightly the market inefficiency. Probably about 3-5 of the selections before us were teams looking for a stash option.

Also, a few teams went for a huge upside gamble with players like Maker, Richardson, Levert who could had slid to 2nd round.

I was already fan of the pick when it was made on draft night, but the more I dive into watching this dude, the more I love the pick.

BC did good here.

So, Luwawu basically said he wants to be here and start playing immediately. Has BC said anything to reassure that we have a mutual interest in bringing him over right away?

TLC is being overlooked throughout this team building process of people wanting to throw big money (and the consequent minutes that would follow) at these average wing players on the open market.
