From the outside I would be taking Oubre over Brown because of the potential to be the better pure shooter.
I feel like we got a steal with Oubre and I'd love to see him getting 20+ mins this next season.
I would think he would get some PT this season. Last season he averaged nearly 11 mph - which seems about right considering where his skill were (or lack thereof). But his 3pt shooting needs to improve, his D needs to improve - and he has to be able to pass the ball, at least once in a while.
I think Brown is considered a superior athlete. Brown is listed at 223 pounds, while Oubre is listed currently at 205. Maybe Kelly's length makes up for that. And let's face it, Brown actually started in his freshman season but shooting-wise, Kelly has a better pure stroke. I think we all felt that Kelly, despite his weaknesses, needed to play more last season.
