Michael Lee @MrMichaelLee
Since 2011, OKC has made West finals 4 times & acquired 6 lottery picks from 5 of 6 drafts: Kanter, Waiters, Oladipo, Adams, Payne & Sabonis

Thought it belongs in this thread.

Physical high floor but very low ceiling guy could help them a little I think.

Heard good things about this guy for awhile in a 'good player for euro leagues' kind of way.

Press report out there now is Rondo may want to sign with the Nets. It will be interesting who the Nets go after with their cap room.

Rondo is a neutral impact player. He won't help much If at all.

Hope Rondo is a undercover tank commander, otherwise I will never forgive him if he wins them a few meaningless games and screws our draft pick.

Rondo is the perfect tank commander, he doesn't care if the team wins or loses as long as he gets his stats. Pretty much refuses to play any sort of defence whatsoever as well

If the Nets planned to go out and overpay for mediocre players I dont think they would have traded Young. The Young trades says to me they are going to try and get some young talent but they aren't going to go all out to win 35 games just to screw us. Great news if I'm right

Rondo isn't the perfect tank commander - he'd be very good for Brook Lopez, who plays off of (and depends on) PGs exceptionally well.

He's the kind of guy who can help them win 25 wins instead of 20. Jarrett Jack was on his way to doing just that with his surprising competent PG play last year.

The guy I wanted for Brooklyn was Rose.

Brooklyn is very likely to be the worst team in the NBA next season. Philly will be better, as will the Lakers. The Nets are in a sad, sad spot.

Not getting hopeful until free agency is over. Best move for Nets is to sign a few low level free agents and trade them away for picks- what the Kings did with Belinelli.

Unless Simmons takes the league by storm and Embiid can actually log some meaningful minutes I really don't see Philly being much better. I'm predicting soft tank and seriously contending for worst record.

I should add they need to trade Okafor an impactful guard.

Part of me thinks it's also a leak from some team who's trying to bring down the value of the Nets picks for trade. But that's just tin foil hat talk.

I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to sign with the Nets when they have so many other teams they can go to. Lots of teams will have a ton of cap room to spend. I feel like the only players the Nets will get are the decent ones who get overpaid big time by them.
