2015 Blue Jays Attendance
Average Attendance - 34,504
Average Ticket Price - $25.14
Ticket Revenue - $67,467,051.36

Ticket Revenue (Projected) - $95,536,693.35

NET: $28,069,641.99

OVERALL: $19,889,517.99

That's 20 million dollars more in revenue than last year with the current payroll over the team from last year. That's also a number that could potentially get bigger if the Jays stay in contention as their attendance figure would likely climb to over 40,000 by the end of the year if they stay in the race down the stretch.

Considering that teams make most of their money from TV coverage and mechandising, the Jays are a money making machine again. I can still remember not long ago when they when the lead the league in money lost. The Roger Centre always looked empty. Not like that anymore.

Jays are not the Leafs though. So if they wanna keep the attendance in the seats, they gotta keep winning. Pressure is on ownership to keep spending now.
