Figured we could use something to throw all these offseason shenanigans in.

From the Oklahoman's review of Mitch seems he may be traded:

McGary plans to be with the Thunder at Orlando Summer League in two weeks, but cryptically said “it’s not really my call.” He spoke like a man who wants to stay in OKC, but who’s also acutely aware that his opportunity could be in another city. “I couldn’t imagine playing for another team. This is the team that drafted me,” McGary said. “Like I said, I’m loyal, but I just want to play ball. That’s it.” 20 hours ago – via Oklahoman

The interview lasted longer than all but two of his 20 game appearances in 2015-16. It was another lost season for McGary, an undoubtedly talented forward who still faces questions about his health and commitment to basketball entering a critical third year with the Thunder. “If I want to prove the player that I am and that I have the potential to be, that I know I can play at this level and be an elite player with some of the guys up there, this is a big time for me to prove myself,” McGary said. 20 hours ago – via Oklahoman

Well he desperately wanted to get rid of his pool table via Twitter yesterday so maybe he knows he'll have to change cities soon.

I wouldn't be shocked. He's got talent, but the fact that he couldn't get any burn at all when he got back is telling. Billy cycled through just about everyone on the roster at one point or another.

I like him, but if there are any issues with work ethic behind the scenes it would explain a lot.

I loved the kid's motor, hands, and court vision his rookie year. I really thought he'd have a breakout season. The reps were just never there though.

I have to wonder if we aren't writing him off a bit too soon though (and I've been as guilty of that as any fan out there). Especially with Serge gone. In theory the rotation could open up more for him. Particularly if Sabonis struggles to adjust to the league early on.

The 1 year makes no sense if he goes anywhere else, that's the weird part.

If he sings, he won't do the 1+1 thing. Dude hates free agency.

Oh and btw of course Woj envisions that. He's been pushing this **** narrative all season long.

Hit up waswereual on Reddit, he can explain the finances—he did a post a while back crunching the numbers. It still makes more sense.

Oh it makes sense for KD, just mean that if he does the 1/1, they'd need more cap space next year to do this all over again. They couldn't use bird rights straight up. Unless that's what you mean and it still works best for him, in which case my bad.

Does that mean CP3 is going to sign with OKC next off-season for the MLE and be Russ' backup? I'm cool with that.

Why are we pinning so much hope on Horford? Seems like a long shot.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City's resident blowhard sports radio radio personality (Jim Traber) said we should look at Ekpe Udoh because he's " a poor man's Ibaka". No word on how poor but I'm guessing face down in the gutter.
