Predict Ingrams stats this year

Post#1 » by Showtime:Part2 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 5:29 pm

title says it all...

i think best would be to give two assumptions. one that we sign a vet like parsons and bring ingram off the bench, and 2) that we arent able to sign anyone and ingram starts...

ingram comes off bench: 23 mpg, 8ppg, 2.5 rpg, 43% fg, 37% 3pt
ingram starts: 30 mpg, 11 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 41% fg, 36% 3 PT

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Rather low. I think he will struggle but I think he puts up 17ppg, 4.3 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, and 3.7 assists on 41%fg, 40 3%, 76% free throw.

If Ingram is starting he's gonna play more than 30mpg, probably closer to 34-35. I think he will put up something like 15/3/2 on like 52 TS%. Would be really happy if he averaged 1 block per game with hopefully not horrible defense. Theres absolutely no way he's averaging more than 5 rebounds a game though, KD who was bigger coming out of college only averaged 4.4 his rookie year.

As other have said, depends on who we add or not during the FA

But if we do lateral moves and he ends up playing a lot from the get go, in a Luke offense, I can't see him not putting 15 ppg...esily

15.5/4.5/2.0/1.1/1.0 sounds about right...efficiency will suffer a bit but it's expected this early

Oh, and if we have some brains and not touch that Brick Machine DeRozan, D'Angelo is getting 22/5/5 this year and makes the All-Star team

I said it from March, I'm keeping that stance...you can quote me on that, no problems

13 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, and a block a game. He'll shoot 37-38% from 3

This ^ is pretty close!

I don't see him playing more than 30 minutes a game unless he comes in Kevin Durant ready and I don't think he's quite to that point yet. The team won't be in any sort of position to compete for a championship so there's little reason to play him more than 30 mins a game. We don't want him on the court risking injury by playing fatigued.

I can see points being slightly lower and rebounds slightly higher... Maybe 12-6-2 his rookie year?

Hopefully he comes off the bench first half of the season and by the all-star break he'll be ready to start but if he doesn't start at all this year it won't bother me.

If he shoots 37% from 3 his rookie year I'll be ecstatic!

I would be very happy with those numbers but not sure that gets him an all star slot above CP3 and Westy.

Of course Ingram's stats depend on who the Lakers acquire after free agency but assuming they don't sign another ball dominant player and Ingram gets 32 minutes a game I think he will average around:

15 ppg 5 rpg 2 apg 1 stl 1 blk 43fg% 37%3pt 75ft% 1.5 tov

I was coming in here to post a similar stat line as you have for him as a starter. I hope he proves me wrong.
