GarPax would like to thank you for your inquiry
I don't believe Evans is a good fit next to Jimmy. Looking for more spacing. However, I'd be glad to discuss Jrue :)

As per my beliefs in the Pelicans offseason plans Jrue is 100% unavailable.

1. Bucks waive rights to Vasquez, Mayo and Novak.

2. Extend a qualifying offer to Plumlee ($5.275MM cap hold)

3. Still maintain rights to Bayless ($3.9MM cap hold)

4. Everyone with the exception of Giannis, Parker, Middleton, Maker and Brogdon are available in the right deal.

5. Bucks have roughly 21.9MM in available cap space along with their full MLE ($5.628MM) and BAE ($2.203MM) and two TPE ($4.25MM and $5.2MM) which both expire on 7/9/16.

At midnight on July 1st we meet with Marvin Williams and pitch him on joining the Bucks. We have Jason Kidd, LED, Middleton and Parker all there. We let him know he is our 1st choice and think he could be the missing piece to get us deep into the playoffs. He will be getting plenty of minutes playing both forward positions alongside Giannis and Jabari along with Middleton. Kidd lets him know on offense with Giannis running point he will be getting plenty of open looks from 3 and easy baskets cutting to the rim. On defense he fits perfectly in our switching and constant attacking scheme. Regardless if he is starting or not he will be in the game come crunch time and likely average 28-30mpg which should keep him fresh as he continues to add mileage to his body. He will also be able to play in a brand new arena once completed and help bring the Milwaukee Bucks back to a championship caliber franchise. We need veterans like him to lead our young star players into the next phase of our "Own The Future" game plan and his signing would be the transition into their new phase "The Future is Now!" We would offer him a 3yr/$45MM deal.

We would then call Courtney Lee and have Kidd talk to him about how we are needing a guard who can play alongside the most amazing young player in the game today and think he is the perfect fit to start next to him. Offering him a 2yrs/$21MM deal with the idea of having him start both years and hitting the market early enough to get one last big payday. Starting on a young and upcoming team where he can showcase his leadership, shooting and defensive prowess will help increase his stock as a solid 3&D player meaning he will be in line for his final big payday when the salary cap is projected to reach $120MM.

For trade offers: I would offer the Spurs MCW straight up for Patty Mills.

As for team needs: we need to move on from the Monroe and MCW experiments, add shooters, a guard who can play off the ball and defend opposing PGs, veteran leadership and better quality bench players.

At 12:01 AM on July 1st, the Detroit Pistons make a call to the agent of: Kevin Durant

Hello Roc Nation Sports, I am the GM of the Detroit Pistons. Your client, Mr Durant has elected to test free agency. We would like to inquire on the chances of Kevin Durant joining the Pistons.

Him joining the Pistons has many benefits for him and for the team

1. Durant wont have to share the spotlight with another star player(Westbrook)
2. Durant would be the focal point of the offense with solid shooters around him.
3. Detroit has not had a true SUPERSTAR so him coming here would be huge for his Star status and for Detroit
4. Durant would get to play in front of some of the most passionate fans(259 straight sell outs from 2004 til 2009). Knowing a superstar would be on the team he would be playing in front of a sellout crowd every night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
5. Coming to Detroit puts you in the top 2 in the East making a trip to the ECF and potentially finals easier(no longer will you have to go through SAS/GSW)

We dont have the cap at the moment to offer you the max but we can clear out space to add you to the team. We feel you are the missing piece to a potential championship run.

Contract offer is max for 4 years with a player option after year 2 or year 1 if that is better for Mr. Durant

Before you go Detroit wont go after Durant. If all 30 teams dont at least inquire on the availability of Durant then they are not a NBA team.

After the phone call with Durant's agent, the Pistons make a call to Dirk Nowitzki,

Dirk, we love your loyalty to your team through thick and thin and we know that you have declined your option. We understand your doing it to help your team and we are grateful that you take our call. We would like to offer you a position on the Detroit Pistons. You would get to play with a young team who made the playoffs last year. The core team is still intact and is improving. If you decide to accept our offer we offer you the chance to get back to the finals. You would be a great fit in Van Gundy's offense. You would be a front court with a very good defensive center in Drummond. You would get to play in front of a great crowd each night.

Our offer to you is a 2 year deal worth 30 million dollars(15 mil a year) with a player option in year 2 so you could opt out when the cap goes up again if you wanted.

The Pistons take a breather but call the agent of Seth Curry, Alex Saratsis

Hello Mr. Saratsis, we the Detroit Pistons would like to offer your client a contract. We see that the Kings have been looking at other guards in FA and we think Seth could be a great player here as a 6th man. He would be apart of our future with our other young assets. We are offering a contract of 4 years 24 million(6 million a year flat) with a team option after year 3. You would be able to showcase your talents here by being the sparkplug off our bench getting solid minutes.

The Pistons are still looking to offload Jodie Meeks. Aaron Baynes could be expendable if $$$ is needed to sign a FA.

Pistons decline team options on Joel Anthony/Cameron Bairstow

Pistons also renounce QO to Anthony Tolliver/Steve Blake

Pistons offer a QO to Andre Drummond and accept the option on Darrun Hillard

Would you be interested in a Monroe and MCW for Plumlee and Crabbe (S&T)? You get your inside scoring threat along with a big guard who can play with either CJ or Dame and provides great perimeter defense.

Chicago Bulls pitch to Mike Conley, with his father/agent, Mike Conley Sr. in attendance

Mike, Chicago would like to be the first team to offer you a full 4-year maximum offer. Among the teams with an open PG spot, Bulls offers the best chance to become a contender, particularly in the East, where we will help you finally become an All Star, just like you deserve.

As part of the team, you will make an exciting duo with All Star Jimmy Butler on both ends of the floor. Feeding off each other, you will share the offensive load and both contribute to make the team among the most efficient in the league. As an elite screen setter, Robin Lopez is a precious and underrated addition for us. He will significantly help your Pick and Roll and penetration game. Adding Lopez also gives us the potential to unlock Niko Mirotic’s talent. Niko is young and we believe supremely talented. He will finally find the stability he needs to show us what he has shown in stretches, only more consistently. Niko instantly provides you with a pick and pop (or roll) option and the spacing you and Jimmy will need. We are also working on adding an extra starting wing, who will give us more spacing and defensive help. More details to come. This team will play a fluid and unselfish brand of basketball, a perfect fit for Fred Hoiberg’s playbook.

As far as depth, we are lucky to have the veteran presence of Calderon, Dunleavy, and Gibson. These are the guys you want to go to war with. The roster is also full of talented young players (McDermott, Grant, Portis, Moore, Felicio, Valentine) and we are committed to develop them in order to further improve our depth.

Last year, like previous years, the main issue has been health. This offseason, we are moving forward with players with a better track record for health, as well as an improved training staff. We know health has also been a concern in Memphis, and we offer you a good chance to play on a deeper and healthier roster.

We also know that Chicago is a special place for your family as this is where your dad (and agent) grew up. We would love for him to bring you home. The Chicago Bulls organization has a history of pride and fighting spirit and the people of Chicago recognize that. The future is bright. We believe you will bring us back to the top.

Thank you. Happy to take your questions now

Also check pg. 1, I'd offer up somethng for Taj if there's interest.

Thanks but no interest for now. I'd like to potentially package him with other assets for a starting wing (or PG). Nothing appealing on OKC's roster as of right now

The Sixers exercise their team option for Hollis Thompson at $1,015,696.

Philly is also offering the following trades:

Philly offers Richaun Holmes and Philly’s 2018 2nd to BUCKS Vaughn

Philly offers Okafor and Saric to BULLS for Butler

Philly offers Korkmaz and Grant to ROCKETS for Beverley

Philly offers Landry and Thompson to MAVS for Justin Anderson

Available for trade - every big man except Embiid and Simmons.

FREE AGENTS:

Harrison Barnes:

Philly would like to offer Harrison Barnes a 4 yr contract starting at 17 million with a player option on the last year. We are offering Harrison a chance to become a focal point of our offense. In Golden State, he is more of a 5/6 guy but we want to highlight him as the complete player that we know he is. That's why we put him on the Olympic team - so the rest of the world (including advertisers) know his real value.

Allen Crabbe:

Allen, have you heard from Portland? Or are you on their backburner while they make other guys like Whiteside their priority? In Portland, you are blocked by Dame and CJ but we both know you are a starter. We want to give you that opportunity and let you truly grow as a player. But if you want that chance, we have to act quickly. If Portland is able to use their open cap space first, they will match our offer and keep you on the bench forever.

4 year contract starting at 15 million with 5% raises per year.

Seth Curry:

Philly would like to offer Seth Curry a 3 yr/20 million dollar contract. We think he has been overlooked in Sacramento where the shadow of his brother looms large. He would be a perfect fit in a Simmons based offense where he can excel as the secondary ball handler while taking advantage of the open 3 looks he will get as an outlet for teams crashing the Sixers bigs down low.

Right now, we are able to offer him a starting PG role to give him the opportunity to really show his abilities. In either case, he will receive significant minutes on the Sixers, including playing some 2 guard as we see him as a multi-dimensional shooter that will fit in the many different lineup constructions we plan to run out there.

This contract will also allow him to hit the market again as an unrestricted free agent at age 28. Just think about what playing for the Sixers did for the stats of Ish Smith and MCW - now think about how Seth can take advantage of that before his next contract.

Washington Wizards here:

we were sad not to hear our name on the list of teams, Kevin Durant will look at this off-season, so we respect that and won't bother him. That said, we firmly believe, that Kevin is going after 1+1 contract wherever he goes, so we hope to improve next season and become more attractive destination for offseason 2017.

Wizards renounce Nene.

Wizards waive Drew Gooden

Wizards would like to start talks with Brad Beal for a Max contract, 5 years, but we want to be a bit creative with raises, lowering by 7.5% to maximize our space for 2017 FA class, then 7.5% up every year after, so it's $111.24m over 5 years ($21.6m x 5.15).We see Bradley as a key player going forward, and are willing to put 15% trade kicker on that contract to confirm our commitment.

Wizards ask Jared Dudley, what amount of money on 1-year contract would be equal to $18m over 3 years, he was just offered by Nets?

Wizards ask Ramon Sessions what amount of money on 1-year contract is he looking for? Wizards see Ramon as a key bench player, who can see a reasonable amount of time next to Wall.

Wizards ask Garrett Temple what amount of money on 1-year contract is he looking for? Wizards see Garrett as a valuable bench player.

Wizards ask Alan Anderson what amount of money on 1-year contract is he looking for? Wizards see Alan as a valuable bench player.

Wizards are looking to gauge league-wide trade interest in our starting center Marcin Gortat. While he's 32 y.o. already, he's "younger" in terms of minutes played, so it's reasonable to expect a couple more solid years from him. Gortat is signed for 3 more years at $12m, $12.8m and $13.6, which is quite good for a starting center in new financial reality.

Wizards are surprised, that Pelicans are content with their bad collection of centers and propose Gortat for Ajinca exchange. Marcin would be a starting center for a couple of years, until Unibrow ready to move there full-time, and become an expring contract, when cap no longer jumps, so expirings get back to being valuable.

Wizards would like to know, what kind of contract Bismack Biyombo is looking for? We feel, that 1+1 MLE from Raptors is kind of insulting, and doesn't show commitment as without capspace Raptors would still be able to offer only 175% of MLE next summer as a starting salary. We are looking to lock BB up on a multiple year contract, making him team's starting center for years to come.

Wizards would like to know, what kind of contract Darrell Arthur is looking for? We hope, Arthur's agent understand, that, he's not a top priority and exercises a bit of patience. Wizards look at Arthur as a valuable bench player.

Golden State Warriors

Mr. Durant, after meeting with fellow all NBA players Steph, Draymond, and Klay, we would invite you to join the Warriors family with a max deal offer. You have admired how we play and believe it would be a seamless transition under the coaching of coach of the year Kerr. We combine a popular fun fast paced offense where we share the ball and create for others with a tough championship defense under your favorite defensive guru Adams.

We would like you to help us recapture the Championship. Our core which just is entering it's prime was hungry enough to improve on a 67 win championship team.

As for future.

The combination of star players signing long term team friendly deals and high revenue, wealthy market and new arena in SF gives our team great financial flexibility to rebuild. We will can keep our core and use over 56 million to add star talent or give you a contract with a player option to get a bigger deal.

1. While many teams are facing roster uncertainty having to make hard decisions with luxury tax issues. like trading away long term stars, pay or not pay max money to retain young starters. Or fight other teams scrambling to keep or aquire stars.

GS has Klay Thompson and Draymond Green committed to contracts half of next year's max salaries. Steph Curry is settled in dynamic and diverse bay area.

To bring you on board a combination. Our GM of the year Meyers under the guidace of the logo HOF player/former GM Jerry West will agressively retool our already championship level squad by:

First stretch provision Jason Thompson guaranteed portion.

Renouncing some of our reserves, bringing some back on vet min deals.

Trading exp. Def. stallwarts Bogut to Hou
NY and/or Iggy to Hou NY Min Phi Cha
Livingston Hou PHI.etc.

Withdrawing the QFO, matching or S&T Barnes to Cha Chi Phi LA and Ezelli Hou LA NY coveted young players.

If you give a discounted 1 and 1 highly incentice laden deal for making 74 starts, all star or all nba plus max out next year so we can keep Iggy and Bogut who we'd like to resign till they retire, trade Livingston and the rookie deals renounce our free agents who we'd like to bring back on vet min deals.

Kevin you can make a basketball decision to seamlesy transition to GS's talented core as a fun championship squad continously strives to reach legendary level by adding championships.

Don't need much but the outgoing salary on the other side would have to go somewhere else.

If someone else wants Waiters or Foye that could work. Are they staying or going for you? If someone wants to take one of those guys or something else as outgoing salary I would do either of Sullinger or Zeller outgoing for a second rounder.

Otherwise they probably get renounced or just allowed to walk on an offer sheet.

Edit - At any rate, once Zeller and Sullinger's cap holds are removed, their salary cap space will be used to make a 2 year, $24M contract offer to Jared Dudley to finally bring him back to Boston. He'd enjoy a similar role in Boston as last year, with ~20-25 minutes per night as a combo forward. The second year would be a team option.

The salary could be negotiated upwards somewhat to exceed other offers if necessary.
