You make the first offer. No untouchables on my roster.

For Stein or cousins?

Cousins. I'm not willing to overpay for Cauley-Stein when I can sign Biyombo into cap space.
Only interested in Cauley-Stein as part of a larger deal.

The Mavs understand they have day 1 meetings with Mike Conley and Hassan Whiteside and might even be the first team meeting with both. So as we pitch each of you understand we are trying to sign both of you.

Mr. Whiteside,

We appreciate you both as a basketball player and a business man. On the business side who better to partner up with than Mark Cuban. He can help you with advice in business matters and obviously he has contacts in just about every area. In terms of basketball, Dallas is a PNR team which suits your offensive game and we have more shots to give you than Miami did. Rick Carlisle is a master at getting his centers great looks--just look at what Tyson Chandler and Brandon Wright did here. With Conley coming on board as well as JJ Barea a great PNR pg your opportunity is right here to be seen as more than just a defender/rebounder. And of course we view you as the best defensive big man in the game. Come join us for a full 4 year max with a PO in year 4 and a 15% trade kicker. We aren't planning on dealing you and the trade kicker only further cements our commitment.

Mr. Conley,

We know its hard for you to think about leaving Memphis if they give you the full 5 year max. But we also know you are about more than the money. We know your respect for Coach Carlisle and believe me its mutual. This would be your team. Not just dumping the ball into the post and spotting up. You would be running the entire show. And we are looking to get you an athletic center to work with, we already have Dirk who is still an elite offensive player and of course Wes Matthews would give us the toughest backcourt in all the league. Come to us on a full 4 year max contract with a PO in year 4 and a 15% trade kicker.

Obviously Dallas has been speaking to Dirk and let him know he can pretty much set his own contract terms. He is okay with us pushing hard for both Conley and Whiteside and we will still have plenty of money to take care of him even if both guys except. But Dirk, you know we want you to retire a Maverick and we plan on doing the same thing we did 2 years ago--try and put the best team around you while taking care of you.

Would also be interested in a deal for Green to clear cap space. We would be willing to offer up a future lottery protected 1st to help maximize your cap space.

Count me as very interested. As of right this second we don't have a huge need to move him, but should we get a commitment from KD..it seems his decision may be later tonight..definitely for it.

Jared Dudley: Interested to see if we could get Dudley to stay available past day 1 of free agency with a potential 4 year contract in the 30-35 million million range, and the potential of a starting sf spot.

Bucks are also interested in bringing back Dudley who has publicly stated he would be open and his family enjoyed their time in Milwaukee but would need him to wait things out for another day or two for us to see how the first day of free agency plays out. Our offer would likely be a three year deal with a 4th year player option in the $9-10MM per range.

Jared Dudley is getting a ton of interest!
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I will counter on your original offer for a Kanter/Chandler straight up trade.

Dallas needs to run out this Whiteside pursuit first, but if we get word he's not coming we'd potentially have interest in either Kanter or Chandler if either of you looks to dump your centers. We aren't looking to give real assets back but if you want a cheap vet PG or C we'd be willing to add Devin Harris and/or JaVale McGee to the deal.

He's a really good rotational forward but I'm also surprised in the level of interest he's generated thus far. I thought he would have been more of a day 2 type of target.

Re: Mike Conley
Bulls are open to 4th year player option and trade kicker, it goes without saying.
We would also consider a max 1+1, if you want to go the KD route and aim for a 10yr vet max contract in 2017.

Depending on how the first day ends. I might be willing to take on Asik instead of Ajinca if you are willing to offer up another smaller asset.

Would you be interested in a Monroe and MCW for Plumlee and Crabbe (S&T)? You get your inside scoring threat along with a big guard who can play with either CJ or Dame and provides great perimeter defense.

Possibly.. Let's talk after day one and see where we both stand.

Philly is considering an offer for Tyler Johnson that it plans to make difficult for Miami to match. Would you do a S & T if we agreed to take on McBob for nothing?
