1. Backup C - Cole Aldrich - 4 yrs - $30 mil with a starting salary at $6.0 mil
2. Backup PF - Amir Johnson (if Boston waives him) or Loul Deng - 3 years - $36 mil with a starting salary at $10.0 mil
3. Backup G/F - Tomas Satoransky - 4 yrs - $30 mil with a starting salary of $6.0 mil
4. Backup PG - Seth Curry - 4 yrs - $40 mil with a starting salary of $8.0 mil (since he's an RFA I'd offer more to try to scare off the Kings)
5. Backup SG - Garrett Temple - I would not renounce his cap hold. - 3yrs - $15 mil with starting salary of $5.0 mil
6. Backup G/F - Alan Anderson - I would re-sign him using our cap exception - 2 yrs - $7 mil
I would fill out the 3rd string PF & C spots with minimum salaried players and leave the 15th spot open.
CE Marcin Gortat ... Cole Aldrich ... MinimumFA
PF Markieff Morris ... Amir Johnson/Loul Deng ... MinimumFA
SF Otto Porter Jr ... Kelly Oubre Jr ... Alan Anderson
SG Bradley Beal ... Tomas Satoransky ... Garrett Temple
PG John Wall ... Seth Curry
Outside of Gortat & our backup PF spot, our rotation guys are all 27 and younger. Anderson & Temple are insurance depth on the perimeter (In case of Beal injury or Oubre not being ready). Curry, Sato & Temple are all capable of playing backup point role so no need for a 3rd string PG.
I love it. Plan "b" for "bunch of overpaid scrubs." But atleast they're young.
