Ok.

My best offer for Cousins is Dragic, 1 of Winslow or Richardson, and a future 1st rd pick.

Valid attempt but it just doesn't move the needle for me. I expect a haul better than what Kevin Love got. im perfectly content sinking or sailing on theb cousins ship for two more years

Love was traded for Wiggins, Thad Young and a future 1st. I think the difference between Dragic and Young offsets the difference between Wiggins and Winslow (or Richardson). Maybe a 3rd team would take Dragic for young assets since you would be going in the rebuilding direction if you move Cousins.

As the RealGM Pat Riley I have to think big and this is really all I have to offer. Bosh is available too if you want him, but I don't see you wanting to make that move given his health situation.

James Gatz wrote:The Charlotte Hornets have a number of moves they would like to make.

1) We would like to offer Nicolas Batum a 5 year contract starting at 22 million with 7.5% raises and a player option in the final year. While this is a few million shy of a max contract it is more guaranteed money than you can get anywhere else. You have said on multiple occasions that you would like to stay a Hornet and have "unfinished business," here in Charlotte.

You have also stated "First time [you] got to play like [you] want to in eight years in the NBA." We will continue to play through you and have you and Kemba Walker be our 1a and 1b scoring options.

We'd like to keep this core together that won 48 games last year and continue to build. You are crucial part of this core and we look to you to be a major foundation piece of this franchisee. Once we get MKG back from injury we are confident in our ability to be one of the top seeds in the East over the next half decade.

If possible, we'd like you to wait to sign the deal as a way for us to keep open cap space as a way to farther improve the team.

http://www.hofmag.com/151262-2/151262

2) Our 2nd priority this offseason is to resign Marvin Williams to the maximum allowed early bird contract of 4 years for $49 million with the last year being partially guaranteed ($3 million).

Marvin, you were a perfect fit for this Hornets team and last year was easily the best of your career. You, like Nic, have stated you love being apart of this team and would return even at a discount. All the Hornets even flew back in to attend your birthday party a little over a week ago.

We appreciate all the hard work you've put into your game adding the ability to pump and drive to the rim and your increasing marksmen like 3 point shooting. We want to give you a contract you deserve and that is we are offering you the maximum allowed possible on the longest term deal possible. We realize as you get older having consistency is of paramount importance so instead of taking a short term contract where a team can discard you, we want you here for the long term.

If possible, we'd like you to wait to sign the deal as a way for us to keep open cap space as a way to farther improve the team.

3) We'd like to offer E'twaun Moore our room exception for two years with a player option in the 2nd year.

E'Twaun we think you're a great young player and think it's time you deserve consistent backup PG minutes on a playoff team. We'd like you to get the same boost that Jeremy Lin would get after taking the same contract last offseason.

In your first year as a Hornet you'd be able to make just short of what you'd made in your previous 4 years in the NBA. We value you immensely and that's why are making you an offer on the first day of free agency.

4) We'd like to waive the cap holds of Al Jefferson, Tyler Hansborugh, Jorge Gutierrez

5) We'd like to extend a QO to Troy Daniels at $1,215,696.

The Hornets would be open to discuss this if Lee was interested and the Kings would be willing to give up a 2019 2nd round pick.

No picks. The kings can't afford to move any picks even second Rounders with all thebpicks we've already moved. Just a straight Koufos for Lee snt. Otherwise I have other SG or PG I'd like to target. I figured Koufos is a cheaper al Jeff replavent for you to keep Marvin and batum

Bulls offer E'Twaun Moore the max Early Bird salary, tentatively 4y / 26-28MM (will depend on 2015-16 average NBA salary which will be calculated during the moratorium). PO on 4th year doable.
We want you back, E'Twaun. We expect to use your versatility the same way we have since we brought you in 2 years ago. Depending on how FA goes, you might be starting at PG or SG. What better place to continue your development than your hometown Bulls.
If you accept, we would appreciate you wait until Day 3 or 4 to sign, so we can continue improving the roster using your $980k cap hold for math purposes. Thanks

Id say dragic is on par with Thad young especially at that time, Wiggins is do much more advanced than winslow and your 1st is probably equivalent to the value Bennett had at the time as one season removed from him being the #1 pick

Value is there. Plus Noel will have cap hold of only $10m next summer, which facilitates Wizards being players on next year's FA market.
Wizards have some interest in the deal, but will need to make couple of steps first, including still finding new home for Gortat.

Bulls offer Taj, Dunleavy, McDermott for Gortat and Porter
Clears you space for 2017 and beyond. You get multiple options at SF and an alternative to Morris at PF (+McD can log minutes there).
Center FA market is more favorable than SF at this point. You can even re-sign Nene
Ok-ish offer, but Wizards feel, that neither Dunleavy, nor McD provide enough quality at the starting SF spot. Taj is an excellent option as a backup PF/C though. As with previous Sixers' offer Wizards will have to think, what to do with SF spot.

OK. I take note of your interest in Taj. I might circle back with another offer later

I looked at Bennet as being a cap filler in that deal.
I also think your underrating Dragic. He single handily won 2 elimination playoff games for his team.
I put him on the block for young assets, let's see how that plays out. I'm not moving him for less value than we gave up for him.
Anyway, I'm really just doing my due diligence on Boogie.

The pistons would like to offer a 4 year contract with a team option after year 3 to Mareese Speights(10 Million the first 2 years then 14 million the final 2 years making it a 4 year 48 million dollar contract)

The Pistons also would like to offer a 1 year contract for the vet minimum to Anderson Varejao

Got to this a bit late, but mine is pretty straightforward at this point.

Renounce Solo Hill. We don't have the ability to offer him a deal he'd accept.

For now I'll keep Ian's cap hold.

We'll also guarantee GRIII and Whittington (which gives us 12 on the roster).

My first call in free agency is to Eric Gordon. I'll be offering him a 1 year deal worth $12 mil with a PO. I'm going to sell him on coming home and being the starting 2 guard. We have Ellis backing him up so we can limit his minutes if need be. He'll also be working with an excellent training staff. And he'll be able to get tons of open looks from Teague and PG. The idea for him here is to rehab his value a bit going into next offseason when there will be even more money and the PO gives him insurance if he isn't able to. Could be bad for us, but I like it as a gamble.

For the first day, that's honestly it as that's most of our cap space. I'd ask Ian to wait until Gordon (or whoever else) is figured out so we can use his smaller cap hold and resign him after.

On the block

Rodney Stuckey - looking for a backup big or cap space, but open to all offers. We will not be paying to dump him though, so don't bother asking.

Don't have one right now because (1) it depends on which of the two you prefer and (2) I think we'd have to rope in a third team unless you want to start talking a Butler trade.

Wizards apologize to Lance Thomas' agent for jumping the gun. Offer stays the same, but it's actually conditional on Wizards missing other targets. Be assured, that intern, who sent you the incorrectly worded e-mail, was immediately fired. :D

That said, Wizards would like to know , if Solomon Hill is willing to sign 4-year contract starting at $8m, 4.5% raises or $34m over 4 years with TO for 4th year. You would replace Jared Dudley and take a lot of bench minutes anywhere from 2 to 4.

If you quote me in a post, I will PM him for you copying your acceptance of any deal. Not sure if he goes for that, but otherwise you won't be able to do anything because you cannot PM until you get a certain # of posts.

We could use either, depending on the offer. Our roster would currently be a better fit for Noel, though.
Butler is off the table unless you are ready to talk about Simmons :)

3. Still maintain rights to Bayless ($3.9MM cap hold)

4. Everyone with the exception of Giannis, Parker, Middleton, Maker and Brogdon are available in the right deal.

5. Bucks have roughly 21.9MM in available cap space along with their full MLE ($5.628MM) and BAE ($2.203MM) and two TPE ($4.25MM and $5.2MM) which both expire on 7/9/16.

At midnight on July 1st we meet with Marvin Williams and pitch him on joining the Bucks. We have Jason Kidd, LED, Middleton and Parker all there. We let him know he is our 1st choice and think he could be the missing piece to get us deep into the playoffs. He will be getting plenty of minutes playing both forward positions alongside Giannis and Jabari along with Middleton. Kidd lets him know on offense with Giannis running point he will be getting plenty of open looks from 3 and easy baskets cutting to the rim. On defense he fits perfectly in our switching and constant attacking scheme. Regardless if he is starting or not he will be in the game come crunch time and likely average 28-30mpg which should keep him fresh as he continues to add mileage to his body. He will also be able to play in a brand new arena once completed and help bring the Milwaukee Bucks back to a championship caliber franchise. We need veterans like him to lead our young star players into the next phase of our "Own The Future" game plan and his signing would be the transition into their new phase "The Future is Now!" We would offer him a 3yr/$45MM deal.

We would then call Courtney Lee and have Kidd talk to him about how we are needing a guard who can play alongside the most amazing young player in the game today and think he is the perfect fit to start next to him. Offering him a 2yrs/$21MM deal with the idea of having him start both years and hitting the market early enough to get one last big payday. Starting on a young and upcoming team where he can showcase his leadership, shooting and defensive prowess will help increase his stock as a solid 3&D player meaning he will be in line for his final big payday when the salary cap is projected to reach $120MM.

For trade offers: I would offer the Spurs MCW straight up for Patty Mills.

As for team needs: we need to move on from the Monroe and MCW experiments, add shooters, a guard who can play off the ball and defend opposing PGs, veteran leadership and better quality bench players.

Did you just GM an off season where Galloway isn't on our team? And get me some Dudley!
