The last time we traded a first it ended up being the pick that drafted Noah Vonleh who Charlotte traded for Nic Batum. Not saying I disagree with trading a first, but not to dump a small contract like Meeks and not if we aren't guaranteed to sign a good player with that cap room.

Yeah, when Meeks was healthy he really helped stretch the floor for us. He is almost like a JR Smith without the personal issues. Speaking of which, maybe we should just sign JR Smith and have him back up KCP with the hopes that winning a chip matured him a bit.
