I'd rather keep Dekker - I thought he'd go earlier last draft.

If we do lose Matty, I'd have a lot of offers for Harris though. He'd fit the role perfectly. We have that 2019 2nd LAL/Minn 2nd.. And a TPE.. Maybe we can make it a better offer with sending Frye to a third team like Detroit who could send Dallas another 2nd. But that all depends on if Delly decides to stay in Cleveland.

We hope he just takes our 4yr/32 million dollar offer tonight as it's a decent amount of money on a title with a very clear role.

Understood. Just trying to be opportunistic to get some youth to Dallas. I might have some interest in a straight Frye for Harris swap if you don't match Delly. Rick likes stretch bigs and moving Harris would off-set some of the cost. We can talk later if you still have interest.

When Horford signs with Houston instead of staying with Atlanta, lets talk trade of Korver/Thabo and you finally hit the reset button the rest of the way.

Nah, if he goes I have alternate plans based on rumors coming out of ATL.

Question for everyone... with the trade talk going hot and heavy (we're on page 17... dear lord) , it's hard to keep track of the FA pitches, and official offers.... I would recommend for day 2 that we have a "trade talk" post and a "FA pitch / official actions" post... once a trade is finalized it would go in the "official actions post."

What does everyone think about that?

Philly would like to offer Tyler Johnson a 3 yr/ 24 million contract.

We think he would fit in great as our number one combo guard off the bench getting minutes both at the 2 and as a 1 when Simmons is acting as the primary ballhandler. Depending on how other contracts resolve, he might be a starter but either way we envision giving him 25 minutes a night.

Toronto Day 1 contract offer:
Darrell Arthur 1+Player Option Using 100% of the MLE with a 4.5% raise
Toronto has a hole at PF so Arthur will get a chance to earn a large contract next season. Its unlikely we make a trade to free up cap room for Biz, and Biz is looking for more money than the MLE so Toronto wishes Biz best of luck and hopes one day he returns.

After years of Rick; I sort of believe in a Kyrie, Delly, Harris, Lebron, TT line up for 10 mpg. It's sickening.

I'd rather the deal be something like;

Frye to Memphis
Wright +Harris to Cleveland
2nd to Dallas

But again.. That's on pause for agent. I could instead send Memphis/Sac a 2nd for their center if Dallas preferred Frye to the extra cap space and future 2nd. I think Sac would take Kostas for LAL/Min 2nd.

I think that makes sense. I also like the idea of using different colors for contract offers and player inquiries.

Yeah many of us started highlighting offical offers in RED just to make sure they stood out, but man it's tough to keep offers, from trades, etc... Poor Sportscrazy is going to be crazy trying to wade through this tonight!

Hopefully he's an Excel wiz and has spreadsheets to help him keep track of everything going on. My guess is things will start to calm down come the 3rd and 4th days once some of the bigger names are off the board.

Cleveland GM wants to make this unrealistic. Sorry.

I'm calling New Orleans seeing if they would take Brewer and a 2nd for Ajinca. They need wing players and Brewer could work, assuming NOP uses all their cap space - they can send any minimum contract to Cleveland to even it out.

Bucks let Tyler Johnson's agent know they are interested in his client and plan on making a formal offer by day 3 of free agency.

Leaving work in 10 minutes, it usually takes an hour to get home. Looks like I have quite the homework to do on this thread for an update then I will set up the final day 1 decisions at 11:00 PM ET.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Based on the market the Hornets will modify the offer to Marvin Williams. He is already been offered max money under early bird but we are now guaranteeing the last year and adding player option and trade kicker.

Marvin Williams- 4 Years 49 Million with the last year full guaranteed with a player option on the last year and 15% trade kicker

You've mentioned previously you would take less money to return. It's now time to put that statement to the test

General Note: Can look up that tweet/article if proof is needed but he has stated that before.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Bucks don't seem to have this cap space. It doesn't seem fair to make offers when cap space is not available.

We also have the MLE to add one of Moore or Galloway to go over the cap. Plenty of teams are making big offers to players without having adequate available cap space at the time of the offers.

I need to see if Philly and Boston have interest in a 3 team trade.

Mock Off-Season: Day 1

Post#339 » by Streakers33 » Wed Jun 29, 2016 11:03 pm

Here in minny. We understand the importance of free agency and enjoying the sunshine. So we played golf all day. (It may snow tomorrow). And know that no one really signs till after the big guns do. So we have time.

We then pick up the phone. Tell rudez we enjoyed his time and good luck to your future.

Leaving us around 62 million.

We continue to let the world know that Rubio is available for the right price.

And remind the Bulls that butler wants to play with thibs. (Wink wink)

We also let the league know, we looking for a starting quality and younger pf for our squad. (Hint hint Orlando..... Aaron Gordon. ).

Pieces that are trade able.
Rubio( only if priced right) , Payne, shbazz, deing. Tyus, bj

Thibs knows he has he tools in place and needs to round out the roster. He needs some shooting and just smart point forwards.

We will then call up chandler parsons.
Tell him he would look good in our modern offense of young guns. And need a starting pf who has a high bbiq like him. Preach about the future and how every publication says that we are the team to watch. Don't u wanna be apart of that?
Something like a flat rate of four years 80 million is offered.

Ryan Anderson will get the same speech. And hopes is one of them will bite.

If they both do. We need to work the phones fast to dump some salary. And see if we cannot lock up two offensive players that can shoot into this squad. (Time to dump pek... Lol )
That was a joke.

We will also call deng and see if he has any interest in playing with thibs.
2 years. 20 million total and second is a po.

I am behind in reading the many many posts. So will catch up through out the night.
