Suns offer John Jenkins for Tony Allen. Allows you to shave money off salary cap for your mega offer for Conley.

To the Pelicans:

Jamal Murray for Buddy Hield

you get a more versatile combo guard to play with Tyreke and Holiday

My guess is, that if the Pelicans wanted Murray, they would have drafted him 6th instead of Murray, who went 7th, but just a hunch.

Hornets have realized the offer raises on early bird contracts and offer Marvin Williams a 4 year deal for 54,793,293 with a player option in the last year and a 15% trade kicker

Well you're supposed to say "With Tony Parker in decline and Dejounte Murray so raw, we could use a REAL point guard like Archie who can drive to the hoop and pass with all of our floor stretchers!"

BullyKing, I am inclined to match the Crabbe offer-sheet, unless you are willing to work out a S&T for Noel?

What about Noel for S&T Crabbe & 2018 Cavs 1st round pick.

No thanks. I'm fine paying him market value but not to give up a better player to do so.

Anyone interested in Koufos, a solid backup center who could give up a decent 3&D guy or a vet PF on an extremely reasonable contract?

The Lakers couldn't be happier with the outcome. We have signed our 2 greatest needs and we still have room to spare.

Our depth chart so far:

5: Hassan Whiteside - Tarik Black - Ivica Zubac
4: Julius Randle - Larry Nance, Jr.
3: Brandon Ingram - Anthony Brown - Nick Young
2: Evan Turner - Lou Williams
1: D'Angelo Russell - Marcelo Huertas

We will take some time to assess what other offers to make, but so far, we like the flexibility and the athleticism of the group.

In terms of needs, we'd like to acquire, via trade or signing, a versatile 3/4 with the ability to stretch the floor with Whiteside in the middle. We're pondering on some vets that could ease in the transition of Brandon Ingram as he embarks on a full-steak diet as he gets stronger.

In view of the apparent return of Jordan CLarkson, we have made available Lou Williams and his cap-friendly deal of 2yrs 14M, as well as Nick Young who has 2yrs 11+ million left. We aren't opposed to acquiring veterans that will help lead the team, longer deals are not deal breakers as long as we preserve our remaining cap for other signings.

I can agree that the move would allow for cap space after the Conley deal was made. I will have to pass because even though TA is getting older, he provides defense, toughness, and leadership to the Grizzlies. Something JJ does not provide right now.

The Lakers have contacted the agent of Luol Deng on possibly joining the team on a short-term deal of 14M deal 1+1. He'll have a +/-15M deal on year 2 that is a player option.

So i might have **** up on the offer i gave Speights(it is against CBA) starting with what i wanted to offer in year 1(10 million) the increases i could offer is 10.8/11.6/12.4 totalling only 44.8 million over 4 years with a TO in year 4(If Speights wants to accept it thats cool if not the Pistons understand)

Spurs follow up with FA Zaza Pachulia.

"Zaza, as we previously discussed, the decisions of other free agents have given us a better idea of our cap situation. We'd like to formally offer you a 3 year contract, starting at $7mil, with 4.5% yearly raises (totaling $21.95mil), and a player option for year 3.

We feel like one of the things that hurt us in last year's playoffs against the Thunder was their size on the boards. The rebounding prowess you've shown throughout your career, particularly last season, would go a long way in addressing that aspect of the game. Your veteran savvy and passing ability will fit right in on the offensive end as well, and pair nicely with LaMarcus Aldridge up front. We look forward to havinf you join our title chase."
