i also havent watched the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game but neither game has anything to do with the fact that you are not going to know which players fits best to what manager wants to do better than the manager himself.

We don't need another attacker. Sterling and Lallana are down as midfielders but neither of them really are. I really see no point in them being in the squad. Rashford in was simply because Roy was frightened by the media into not taking him. Far too raw and inexperienced. Even though he scored against the mighty Australia he showed tremendous inexperience when it came to situations where he actually had to think. The goal was simply a natural strike. But he does have experience there, and in most cases the 4th CB never gets to see the playing field, also luckily for England they have a versatile 4th CB who can double as a DM. I understand that it might not be ideal to see Dier play as a CB should it come down to it but who else was there? This team is already in trouble with the current crop of CBs, adding a 4th CB doesn't solve that problem.

It's not about needing another attacker, it's about giving Roy more options to maximise this team. He's still experimenting with this team, I feel like he has 5-6 guaranteed places with the others up for grabs. A lot of spots are huge question marks especially the midfield and attack and when you consider that Roy is definitely set on implementing this 4-3-3/diamond formation he's trying to find out which players are versatile enough for both.

I honestly don't know what our starting lineup will be, but Alli will almost certainly be in it. Wilshere and Dier will most likely be part of the midfield as well.

Torygraph: Southgate rules out taking the England job. Hoddle, Bilic and Blanc contenders. Wenger and Ranieri as well.

Think Bilic would be amazing, but can't see him having 2 jobs at the same time. Blanc is mediocre and I'm not sure if he even speaks English. Hoddle is terrible and only gets mentioned because he has mates in the press.

Hodgson is a bad Manager. The one who told Roberto Carlos that he sucked as an LB.
He's not fit to manage even a small club in the PL.

Let's just wait it out before hiring a new manager, don't think any of the candidates out there are particularly inspiring which is exactly what we need.

Also, lost in all of this nonsense. It's time to question Joe Hart's status as England number 1, this is the 2nd tournament now that he's cost England with his shoddy performances at international level. The next manager should run an open competition between him and Butland for the upcoming WC.

Should probably go for Adam Szalai as replacement. I heard he scored more than Kane in the Euros
