Puts a slight damper on things. As long as he takes it easy over the rest of the summer it should be fine, but back issues suck and that's a few months less of development that Darrun could use.

Not good. Hopefully it isn't a chronic thing. Dre had one his rookie season IIRC. There was just an article about him putting on a lot of weight over the off-season and was up to 230lbs and working out daily - wonder if any correlation there.

As long as he's back for camp he should be okay though, if he missed camp and start of season it could really impact him and the team as he'd be behind everything conditioning and the like and it's hard to catch up on that.

If they still want to see Gbinije at PG in SL, we might need to bring in another SG if there is time.

good point, if he got a little careless with his workouts it could've made him more vulnerable to injuries like this.

Awe man this sucks. When this happens to an established player the chances are better that he'll bounce back. For a fringe player with limited upside like Hilliard, this could be devastating for his career. This sucks.

This is great news! Hilliard is heady and poised, and that's always useful in a reserve swingman. Heard he had gained strength. He's a decent prospect for a 2nd rounder.

Awesome news, I think Hilliard could develop into that Allen Crabbe type of tier this season which is nice for a second rounder

I swear, sometimes this franchise has the worst luck with "shooters".

Glad it's not anything hugely serious, but I did want to see him put in work at SL.

Hopefully he bounces back ready for training camp. Not a big problem for the team, he's the third SG/SF.
