The Pistons need to go after Brady Beal.

Ibaka is a good player no doubt, but not worth what Orlando gave up. On the flip side, I love the trade for OKC. I think Oladipo would be an awesome fit at shooting guard, and I'm intrigued to see how Sabonis develops under their system. If Durant ends up staying, they'll be fun to watch.

Man that's horrendous. I doubt Ibaka even stays there, so they may have traded all of that away for nothing. And if he does stay it'll be because they overpaid significantly.
You should check out the Orlando board. They are in complete denial about the trade and act as if Ibaka is somehow going to be something he isnt, a primary.

They have for a fact traded, Harris, Oladipo, Erson and Sabonis, for a player they may not even resign with them, and is in no way shape or form worth that price.

That whole fan base is deluded. They act as if everything that has happened is good when in fact the last time they made the playoffs was in 2011/2012 when Stan van Gundy was the coach.

They believe in their GM which is the funniest part of this trade. They are talking 45-50 wins. LMAO.

Wow that is a huge number of talented players to give up. Harris, Oladipo, and Sabonis could be solid starters on a young team. Good for the Thunder to land Oladipo, Illy, and Sabonis in exchange for Ibaka. Beats any deal we could come up with for Ibaka without gutting our core and the Thunder should be able to resign Durant now that they get stronger all around even though Adams and Ibaka were terrific defensively.

Or get his ceiling in Eric Gordon.

Bradley can't play a full season, so you have to account for that man.

Beal is most likely getting the 5-year max from Washington. Nobody else has a chance.

I would be stunned if Charlotte didn't make him an offer he couldn't refuse.

They got MKG, it's not something very unexpected. I think in the same way of you but it's not a live or dead sign for them.

I don't know, MKG has shown nothing besides being a defensive stopper with huge durability concerns. Batum can/will play SG anyways. Nicolas was a huge part of their offense last season while not being a terrible defender. His defense has always been a little overrated and inconsistent but not bad enough to keep him off the court. I do think the Hornets are in a very bad spot if they don't re-sign as well as Lin leaving like the signs seem to be pointing towards.

Walker / Lamb? / Kidd-Gilchrist / Kaminsky? / Zeller?

Then there's only Spencer Hawes, Aaron Harrison, and then restricted free agents Jorge Gutierrez and Troy Daniels. That's a bad team and Charlotte isn't a free agent destination.

MKG showed a solid midrange jumper and a great offensive improvement before his injury

He did, but seven games is too small of a sample size. Especially if you're making the decision about not giving Batum huge money when you have no one else to give it to when everybody is getting huge money from here on out. They have to give him whatever he wants or they're screwed. And if Nicolas just doesn't want to go back to Charlotte... well, they're really screwed.

I'm agree with you in the most part, I'm just saying is not an incredible crazy move not offer the new land to Batum having a very good and young SF like they have. But yeah, looking for compete and improve, they should put a big offer to Nico

Doesn't that take away our, "Al Horford come to Detroit, we have Andre so you won't have to play center" argument tho?

No. Howard is a shell of his former self.

The next few days are going to be interesting.

Howard hasnt done himself any favors with his recent attitude, and play. I dont think he will inspire anyone to do anything.
