26-27 is peak. 30-32/33 is plateau into decline. Oldest player...? Perhaps. Bust...? Who knows. IF he can ball, wtf does it matter.

If he can ball right away it's not a big deal. But the scouting report on him coming in was that he's a long term project, but has a lot of upside being young, that the team can mold him however they want to. If he's still a long term project that is the oldest player in the draft, the upside is not there, that's the big deal.

Sure, if the upside is not there it's not there. That's the risk you take with every prospect in the draft unless the player is a home run a la possibly only a few players in this draft. If it's a big deal to you ok, it's not for me.

Heat can't even sort their own house out and yet they are meant to be the East front runner for KD...ok.

Would rather have Kanter than Horford, unpopular but true.

Brooklyn might throw a near-max at Allen Crabbe? WTF dudes.

And 20 million is the ballpark for Kent Bazemore?

There hasn't been this much money thrown around this carelessly since the days of Rashard Lewis and Gilbert Arenas, and the amnesty provision that came next.

Teams are going to be wanting the amnesty back in the CBA in two years now. We'll see how some more deals shake out but it's not looking like a good market so far

Mozgov, Derozan and Batum gone. Batum I'm kinda sad about. Derozan we knew for a while. Money getting thrown around and discussed is outrageous. Find it funny people thought we could get Howard for a 1+1. Supposedly, Mozgov got 64 million and Noah offered 72 million.

So apparently the Knicks are going hard after Eric Gordon. I don't know what to think of that lol..Rose, Gordon, Melo, Porzingis and Noah looks like a very good starting 5..but damn will they even get 20 full games with a healthy team? How much would Gordon even ask for?
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

This is why I never understood Orlando trading away Tobias Harris and why I was upset at Ainge not taking him. His contract has declining money, he is a perfect 3/4 player in modern NBA, he's 23 and the price was incredibly low. There is precisely one reason not to take Harris: thinking he's actually overrated trash. Which is not out of the window because of his poor defense.

But who are you going to get instead of Tobias Harris?

He was a restricted free agent and orlando wanted him. Then when he was traded hw was putting up lower numbers than Jae Crowder and we all said "oh hell no to harris"

I meant at the trade deadline, I'd have never signed Harris to an offer sheet.

Mozgov signing with the Lakers should slightly improve them. If the Cavs strike out on a Center and the Nets as well, I'll be thrilled. Depth issues for both teams at this point.
