Howard at $30 mill a year for 2 or 3 seasons looks reasonable right now.

Crabbe/Lin backcourt wouldn't be half bad

Agreed, but at the moment, it's looking like it's going to cost us a bit more than we previously thought. Probably 14 for Lin and 18 for Crabbe.

I like the pairing, but off the bat that's ~32mil of our 50+mil.

I think we go for it, I just hope we can also find a PF who fits

Like I've been saying, it will take $17 or $18 a season starting just to get Portland to blink.

Probably have to max the guy to steal him.

And then you max him and Lin is likely going to push for the top of his range and a full 4 seasons, so like 4 years and $60 to $64 million.

I'm just throwing that number from the SI.com article about the amount he reportedly wants.

what principals are you applying?

Rose was HORRIBLE last season. like D-league level play.

Rondo posted 12/12/6/2 shot 36% from three with a higher PER, TS%, RAPM, RPM, RPM DRPM, WS, and PPP then rose and rose missed 20 games.

Rondo's TS% and RAPM were putrid though so thats not exactly something to toss out there

Rondo shot 36% from three last year but in his other nine years, he shot closer to 29% or worse. 36% seems to be the outlier, not something to bank on.

Ish Smith went to Detroit
The Detroit Pistons resolved their primary goal in NBA free agency by agreeing to terms with point guard Ish Smith on a three-year contract today, according to an MLive source.

Financial terms were not immediately available.

Rodriguez is gone. Sergio Rodriguez signing back in Europe because he didn't think he'd get a starting job in the NBA.

With all the euro assistants I thought that was the way they were leaning (Sergio & the backup center Jan Vesley)

Just read we signed Linsanity!

Looking around on Twitter, it seems that everyone believe the Nets got a deal on Lin.

Jarrett Jack is also making himself look like an ASS on twitter too lol.

Looks like Al Jefferson is going to Indy. That front court is looking solid.

Jack wasn't throwing shade at the Nets.

Parsons going to Memphis not Portland. So Crabbe is going to take a real overpay

Welp, our chances to steal away Crabbe is a lot more difficult now.

Whoa, well at least we know Portland might not match Crabbe but it does mean we probably have to spend that much to get him here. Glad Portland took Turner, was hoping he wasn't coming here

I think it's the opposite. I have a feeling Crabbe didn't get the offer from Portland that he expected, and this money went to Turner instead. Thus his agent change.
