Love ET, but not for that much. Good luck to him and Portland. He's quite the character and super clutch.

Jesus people are dense. Turner put up similar numbers to Batum (120 million) and Parsons (95 million) and he gets 70 and people are losing their minds. He has the most upside of the 3 as well.

It's equivalent to 14 million under the old cap, not 11 million.

And he didn't put up 13/6/6, he put up 10/4.5/5.

Hmm. He'll need the ball, so Dame and CJ will have to spot up more. Could work, but seems like an odd fit. Neither one of Dame, CJ, ET are particularly strong defenders. They'll need some more rim protector.

The Celtics haven't done anything in free agency yet, but this might be the best news i will hear all offseason. Turners quotes will be missed, but that's about it.

13/6/6/1.5 PER 36 is probably what I saw. Still he's worth it for sure. 14 or not he's better at this price than Batum and Parsons hands down.

Well at least it's not as bad as Noah, Mozgov, Batum's new deals

I don't think this is that bad, he was pretty decent in boston and stylistically he can probably play with CJ and Lillard.

What you think is overpaid is just the new normal. You're just stuck in the past. A better way to compare is "as a percentage of the cap".

I would take Batum at 24 million per over Turner at 17.5 million per, even with Batum's injury history.

Naw, only Batum is a plus defender really on a consistent basis and even he's even dropped off there.Turner has more upside than these 2. Batum is a 9 year vet on the decline a bit due to injuries. I love Batum and defended his deal a bit but Turner at 65 percent less price wise is hands down more value. Parsons is the best all around arguably but is constantly injured, so his value is lessened.

You would be getting less production for your dollar.

Dont really like Turner's fit in Portland.
He really needs the ball to be effective and DLill is super ball dominant.
I thought Parsons would have great over there.

The difference in shooting is pretty large. It shows in their efficiency - Turner had only had 2 seasons with a TS% above 50% and even those were barely above. Defensively, Turner is also the worst of the 3 and there's a big gap between him and a healthy Batum. He is also more of a ball-stopper. Creates off the dribble for a pull-up mid-range jumper or a pass if it's there.

No idea why you think he has the most upside. I guess he does if he improves his shooting, but at this point that's highly unlikely.

Clearly the worst player of these three.

Not to mention the deal probably starts at around 15.8 mil.
