??????????????
I hope this message is for Teletovic's thanks.
Or happy his buddy is getting 30 million?
Yea I might be overracting but I really sense some sneakiness in him, he seems like a traitor to me. I don't know...

Must stress, Dudley signing with the Jazz isn't by any means done. Both sides have options. Dudley has real interest from Phoenix as well

No Price then and all is OK. Five guards for two positions is the standard, we need some depth.
Thought I read that Ulis might miss the whole season.
I can't tell if that's a rumor someone made up to hurt his draft stock or if he really does need hip surgery. If it's just Bledsoe and Ulis, Price makes some sense, though I'd rather sign a different PG...maybe another young guy, undrafted free agent or something or a guy with a couple years in the league. Price is a decent vet guy to have around, though Bledsoe does seem to be evolving into more of a leader/vet type.

Guys, I don't understand the reaction here. I may not be able to express myself good enough.
Maybe "traitor" wasn't the right word for it but I feel like he doesn't wanna be with Suns, and wants to see Suns suffer or regret for not giving him playing time.
I feel like Goodwin is still an immature kid and has some bad thoughts in him.

We should have signed GP3 as a UDFA, the rockets nabbed him. Imagine him spelling Beverly. Price shoots well below 40% for his career and is a dumb defender who is just pesky and hyperactive, he gets burnt on the ball pressuring drivers and gets called for reaching in every time

So far we have heard nothing from the Suns and that is beautiful!
These contracts are absurd. Some of these teams are really going to hurt their long term flexibility.

Re: The 2016 Offseason Thread (Post Draft)
Best course value wise is sign D-league guys 1 year contracts to top out rosters IF I was a GM...
Wait til buyers remorse next season when players putting up 10 points per game are getting same money as a top 10 scorer.

Would rather Derrick Williams than Dudley. Derrick may actually be a good option. Still young, very athletic, streakey from 3. Would be a hilight reel if set up properly by our guards, cheap and when our youngins are ready no need to feel bad about less minutes. The dude is a stellar athlete and could still develope his game more.

Personally, i couldn't care less what our record is next year. As long as guys like Booker/Warren/Goodwin/Len/Bender/Chriss, and to a lesser extent Knight/Bledsoe, develop. There is nothing outside of Lebron/Durant who will make us the least bit relevent. So for us, like many teams, its about building for the years that follow.
I know there will be many complaining about yet another year missing the playoffs, and when we are 10/25 the same will be calling for Watson/McD's head. I really dont care. Next year is about youth, something we are FINALLY working with. Something that should have been done 2 years ago, and something that i'm excited about.
No, no, you got it all wrong. But we've already lost one of the key pieces we needed to keep in Teletovic. We need to dump Len because he'll never develop; he's been given 93 games started (22 at his non-natural position of PF), but he's 23 already and is a lost cause. We want to keep Chandler, see if Miami will take their 2 1st Rd picks back along with Len and maybe we can get Goran back. Then trade Booker for Marcus Morris, somehow reacquire Tolliver. Trade Warren, Goodwin, and our 2019 1st to the Wizards for Kieff and Gortat, then trade our 1st Next year to Toronto for Scola, trade Knight for IT and bring back the band--EB, IT, and Goran!! And we're set: Chandler, KiefMo, CusMo, Goran, (find and bring in Zoran), Gortat, Scola, EB, IT, and Tolliver. We'll need to find an asset or two to bring back Beasley and Wesley Johnsom...and how they say??? Championship!!

Dwain Price
@DwainPrice 1 minute ago
Memphis just offered Mike Conley the richest contract in NBA history -- $153 million over 5 yrs. In other words, he's not coming to Dallas.

Re: The 2016 Offseason Thread (Post Draft)
I would just keep the current team except switch Knight for Gay. Just based on needs of both teams.
Put Gay at PF whilst the rookies develop.
Chandler's contract will be very attractive to teams who missed out... Mavericks will be a suitor now.

I would prefer Dudley. Williams is pretty much just an athlete with poor fundamentals and low basketball IQ.

Oh yeah, if anybody is curious about Conley's otherworldly statistics that make him worth the largest contract in NBA history, just click here:
http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3195/mike-conley
There you will see Conley's beyond incredible averages of 15 pts, 6 ast, and 3 rbs per game on phenomenal 42% fg and 36% 3pts in 31 mpg. Truly historic. A 28 year old player who only played 56 games this past season with those averages is surely worth 30+ million a year.

We are talking about Dudley, Amare....but what about Joe Johnson? Not sure if he only wants to play for a contender, but he can play some PF an SF for the next season. I don't think he is a worse option than Dudley/ West/ Amare.

Until all the free agents are signed, it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if one of those guys that will get a lot of money signs with us out of left field. Even someone like Kent Bazemore (just saw something that said he had six more teams to meet with). Atlanta looking for a meeting with Courtney Lee in case Bazemore leaves. Maybe they'd S&T him for Knight.
Now that's a three guard starting lineup that could work JMAC: Bledsoe, Booker and Bazemore.
If Marvin Williams hasn't signed yet, he is the guy that will get pretty big money that makes the most sense to start at PF for a year or two and let the young guys learn from him.
McD isn't one to be quiet, though I'll be happy if we do just sign Leuer and have the massive cap space to absorb contracts if needed and get assets to do so. That COULD happen in the next day or two...someone NEEDS to clear cap space and we accept one for a first round pick or something.
Hey, I want Knight as a sixth man, believe me, but i just don't see it happening unless Bender is more advanced than we think or we sign a really good SF. I stand by my prediction, Knight will be on the bench before Booker.
