Very reasonable deal, if not a steal. Arthur has become a very underrated two-way stretch 4. I was expecting him to get something in $10M/year range.

Sounds like the 3rd year is a player option, btw.

Not too far from what I was expecting. He may have taken a small discount to stay in Denver. Apparently he likes it there.

That's a great deal for Denver. Arthur should probably get a new agent.

This may be the best so far.

I don't think it's close IMO. Solid player, borderline starter caliber for a price that would have been reasonable before the cap went up.

The only one close I think is Lin, maybe Al Jeff. Both of those were pretty solid at old value even I think. But this is outstanding.

Yeah. The difference to me is I can imagine Arthur playing 25 good, important minutes in a playoff game. Those two seem more like liabilities in the playoffs to me. Arthur was probably the guy I wished the Wolves went after the most to help round out their roster. I really like his game an would have been very comfortable had Thibs given him 10 or 11 a year.

Al jefferson had a decline last year, probably due in some part to health. If he bounces back it will be a pretty good deal for the pacers. He should be playing off the bench though right

I think Lin was mostly solid in the playoffs.

I think you guys are being just a tad too generous in your appraisal of Arthur. He's a good perimeter defender but he's not a very good post defender (which is bad for a PF) and he isn't a great rebounder. He really puts the stretch in stretch 4.

But it's still an ok deal.
