He's not. They're signing Noah.

Yup, you're right. I missed that one!

If true, that's one deal that I would regret Detroit missing out on. That's the only one for points guards so far though.

Delly likely agreed to a contract with Bucks because he'd get a starting role. Detroit couldn't offer that. Being a starting PG may be the only reason for him to leave a championship team.

Be interesting to see if Cavs match. I could see them matching in order to retain their team as much as possible, but who knows.

We'll see!

I could see Noah with San Antonio

No, it's all but been guaranteed that he's getting something around $72 million over 4 years in New York. Dude even posted a picture of himself in a Knicks hat a little while ago.

Darrel Arthur staying in Denver.

He's definitely a guy I thought we'd be interested in, but no dice.

Wow the Hawks are dumb. Howard is a SHELL of his former self. Lets see how this now plays out. Horford can only play with an all nba center on three different teams.

Im starting to think he will end up in OKC now.

How does Evan Turner keep hanging around in the league like this?? It blows my mind that someone would give him 70m

I don't think he is as good as he used to be but he is still a good player. His last season in Houston he was used like 2013-14 Drummond. Him going to Atlanta will make him look much better.

Does anyone else get the idea that something is up Van Bowser's sleeve with how quiet we have been? I know its very incredibly early but it really makes ya wonder...

I hope we actually have a better shot at Horford than the radio silence makes it seem, or else I hope that there's something completely different going on.

If not, then the inaction on the front of power forward, with a few solid next tier options already gone, is pretty discouraging.

Happy to wait and see though.

I don't know, the power forward market hasn't been active on the whole. Only Teletovic and Arthur have come off the board. Guys might be waiting on Horford, although I'm not sure why since he's getting the max regardless. I'm not sure what to make of it either way.

Can we even offer him the max or do we need to find a buyer for Baynes first?

Yes but that will be the easiest move Stan would have to do for the next 3 years. Baynes proved he is a damn fine center and his contract is just easy on the eyes as well.

If he needs to move Baynes I hope its just not within conference, or heaven forbid division.

Yeah, I tend to think that if we actually did get Horford to bite on the idea of playing in Detroit it wouldn't be that difficult to secure the space to make that happen. Baynes is a pretty movable contract and if we have to we can probably unload Joel and his 2.5 for one year to a team looking to hit the minimum.

Brad Stevens reigned in a lot of his suckiness but it'll be interesting to see if Turner reverts back to complete scrub in Portland's "roll the ball out" offense.

Anthony's $2.5 million is fully unguaranteed with no guarantee date. Both Baynes and Bullock would have to be traded though.
