We'd really need a creator on the 2nd unit to play with him.

Bats can't play 48mpg.

i assume this is looking for a 3rd string PG.

he isn't good enough to be the primary backup PG. very up and down.

Nice, finally a rumor I can get behind. Moore is my guy for our backup PG spot.

Marco can handle some playmaking duties in that 2nd unit as can Frank and maybe Hawes. Also, plan to see Batum run with the 2nd unit as well, like he did this past year.

I think moore for something similar to the Ish Smith deal would be fantastic. Would be a little less in love at the Bayless deal.

I assume any deal like this for a PG is assuming Marvin accepts the early bird deal.

Not a fan of Moore as a PG. To me there is not much difference between him and Daniels.

Not a big fan either. He scores in bunches but when he's not scoring he doesn't seem to impact the game in any other way. Would not hate the signing though.

If he's coming at $4M a year then sign me up.

If he's getting DJ Augustin money, forget about it.

Who?

While I'm at it, why does it seem like every team is signing everyone to these huge deals, and we can't even afford to keep some of our own players? Outside of Batum's new deal, I thought the only players who have somewhat "big" deals are Kemba and MKG, and they were "big" deals under the old salary cap. Aside from that, I thought it's a bunch of guys making around~6m'ish.

Just saw that Lee was offered a deal by the Knicks. How is it that we can't sign our own guys and yet still can't go after some of the big names ourselves? Are we still under the expansion team salary cap penalty?

Cap dancing.

Honestly the biggest issue is that Marvin was signed to a 2 year deal, so the Hornet's options are to either sign him to an "Early Bird" deal, which will open up cap space to improve the team ... or use that potential cap space to just sign him to a new deal ... or Marvin could just go elsewhere.

From Marvin's perspective he can really cash in now or cut the Hornets a sweetheart deal and play on a much better team. Given what they just paid Batum, and the other contracts going around, I'm sure that the idea of sacrifice is something of a bitter pill.

Until a decision is made on that the Hornets really don't know if they are going to have space to use or not.

As for Moore, he doesn't move the needle much for me. I like that 3pt% from last year, but it's way above his average elsewhere. Also his passing doesn't really seem to be a strong point. Do we really need another poor passing PG? -edit- AAAND moot at this point.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
