Sigh...

Well at least I rather Dudley than Mirza...

Dudley makes passes and nice team plays...

It's funny, the mock I am doing, they both got deals before their real deals, and Dudley got 4/40 and Telly got 3/30.

We're at $71m with 3 players to go, $12m more needed to get to minimum cap.

I'd be thinking Backup PG, Squad C and Squad SF.

If not, then hopefully that's it for out offseason.

We can EASILY deal him for decent value after all wing free agents are signed because someone will have missed out. He will probably have more appeal than Chandler or Knight right after free agency ends. I think Chandler might have some appeal from a team like Dallas, but that's it. PJ may have several suitors.

Maybe that Cleveland deal would be on the table that a writer mentioned. They have rights to a guy who they drafted a couple years ago. Draft and stash I think. Or maybe a team like the W's when they whif on Durant and maybe don't want to pay Barnes what he's going to get.

Click on that tweet and look at the responses....one from TASTIC with four guys getting a pic with Dudley. I'm guessing they are all guys on our forum, but I don't know who's who.

That would be nice....Cedi Osman. Another thing I tried to do in that mock but the guy disappeared so I dealt him and Chandler for Kanter, only to have the guy come back and tell me he would have accepted.

Tucker and Chandler on the way out?

Maybe to Mavericks.

Dudley's not a PF. We just need to sign Leuer and possibly Price if we can't find a better PG. I think we might want to just sign Troy Williams for another backup SF if he does well in summer league (if we deal Tucker). I would have gone after Dorian Finney Smith too if he didn't get nabbed by the Mavs.

I think the plan is to play him at PF. He played 93% of his time at PF last season...slowly transitioned from SG to SF to PF over the course of three seasons.

Love this deal. Perfect addition. Exactly what McD wanted.

Dudley has always been one of my favorite Suns players so I am happy he is back. I was hesitant to give him more than the supposed 2 year, 18 million dollar offer from Brooklyn, but when Conley is getting 1 billion dollars, I guess 3 years, 30 million is not bad. Dudley should definitely help the team and provide a positive influence on the young guys.

Has to be a trade coming unless our new starting pf is none other than Pj Tucker... I hope that's not the case.

Yeah, when they went small ball. If we don't sign anyone else and keep Tucker, I can see those two at the forward spots together or one with Warren. But if he plays a lot in normal lineups, it will be more at SF imo.

Yeah, McD has always seemed hesitant to bring back ex Suns, and he even brought back one he actually traded away.

Bledsoe
Booker or Knight
Tucker
Dudley
Chandler or Len

either way, our starting lineup looks like it's gonna be 4-out

At least if things don't work out we know that McD knows how to find good value for Dudley in a trade situation.

They drafted 2 PFs...

Give Dudley 10 minutes at PF... 19 a piece to Chriss and Bender... Its fine I think.
You have to give them minutes to develop fast.
