I can't help but feel like our management is dazed and confused right now. I would prioritize on Horford, he's a perfect compliment to our team.

Worst off season ever? And it just began

Should have just gone after Dudley & Teletovic(at least one of them) early along with Horford! :banghead:
Looks like we didnt even contact Dudley.

No one wants Ryan Anderson on that horrible contract he will get. **** this team.
Just get Tyler Johnson, bring back Cole Aldrich & Dmo and make trades to collect salary.

Go after Crabbe hard! Morey probably doesnt care for him because Crabbe isnt a lefty like Bazemore but he is younger has good % and looked great in the playoffs.
20 per for Crabbe... DO IT MOREY!

Johnson/Bev
Harden
Ariza
Dmo/Beas
Aldrich/Capela

Morey always do small risk big reward deal
he won't throw big money at free agent unless they have big name

Rockets is meeting with Ryan Anderson and Tyler Johnson this weekend. I wonder how much the offer is. Morey always talk about letting the market to set the price. The price for Horford is max and average wing is 70million/4years. I wonder how much Morey is offering Horford. Tyler Johnson play tough defense in short min in the playoff. I think team will offer him 5 years per.

At this point, I think it's much better to have some cap flexibility and wait for the next free agency rather than grossly overpaying for these remaining free agents. Some of these GMs who are dishing out ridiculous contracts and going to regret every penny that paid.

Couple things. NBA agency is always weird to me in both football and baseball it is always the bigger names that get signed first which ends up setting up the market and all the little fish follow. But in basketball it is completely different all the little fish get signed and thrown God awful contracts that are just to hard to refuse and big fish sign a couple days later.

I just can't understand how Morey does not contact Dudley or Teletovic. I just can't see how you can't sign other players while leaving that needed capspace for a Horford or whatever. **** Ryan Anderson.

The NBA free agency is the biggest carp shoot ever.

God I truly hate the NBA John lueur 42/4. Guy is a scrub and signing Anderson will likely cost twice that.

smh could of had Dudley & Teletovic for that price. They do the same things but aren't as injury prone. so disappointed.

Agreed.

I know we had a disappointing season last year, but I think we'll look much better next year even if we don't make any more moves.

A new system will benefit everyone, and we've got good prospects at almost every position. I'm not big on D'Antoni, but I have to think his offense will be a huge improvement over McHale and Bickerstaff.

Image a system that doesn't involve Harden isos on every play!

Capela has shown amazing potential so far and will benefit from more playing time. Harrell looked great early last season when he got minutes. Big men who actually run the pick & roll! What a concept.

I'm not THAT high on McDaniels and Dekker but it'd be interesting to see what they can do with more minutes. KJ definitely has potential to be a good 3&D guy.

I absolutely love Goudelock as a complement to Harden. To be fair, I'm a little biased since we went to the same college, but his biggest weakness has always been that he's more of a shooting guard in a point guard's body. But that works perfectly with Harden, since he's a lights out shooter and doesn't need to handle the ball as much. Even on the Lakers he had flashes, and he tore it up in Europe.

I think he will thrive in D'Antoni's system. Not saying he'll be an all-star, but think he'll give us a productive 10 or 20 minutes per.

Motiejunas will hopefully be healthy and Jones leaving will clear up the log jam we've had at PF for what seems like forever. It'll be nice to not have Dwight "The Turnover" Howard taking touches away from Motie too.

I'd like to see us sign Horford, move Ariza, and upgrade at point guard. If we could do 1 or 2 out of 3, I'd be happy.

Most of the other moves I've seen suggested seem lateral more than anything. I'd rather see Harrell get more minutes than sign Ryan Anderson for $10+ million per season, for instance. Maybe even give Dekker some time at the 4.

Obviously any low risk-high reward moves Morey has up his sleeve are always welcome.

Anderson at $20M per year...wow...

Now they're looking at Eric Gordon?

This has to be the worst offseason for the rockets yet. Even worse then when Bosh changed his mind since the Heat decided to give him a five year supermax and parson walked away. Just awful. Terrible head coach and gave a specialist 20 per. A guy that does nothing but shoot threes. Doesn't do anything else. Much rather the other scrub lueur.
