definitely the best contract for cavs, even before this year salary cap increase dramatically his contract aint that bad. people make big deal about it because TT offense liability but he definitely play out his contract this year playoff, he's kind always show up when the playoff come and diminish during regular season

every deal made before this season is a bargain deal. Cavs did pay the lux tax for this contract last season. i would add that to the total cost of the contract which is still a good deal as of July 1 2016.

People where too shortsighted last Summer.. yes back then it looked like a big overpay..
But seeing the Conracts now make this look like the ultimate Bargin.. especially after how TT looked in the Playoffs.

nah, son. not how this type of accounting works.

But yes, agree that 82million looks very reasonable for TT.

True, but I'd wager 99%(maybe 98%) of people don't add any associated luxury tax expenses when looking at contracts.

perhaps, but on realgm, a 82mil contract is an 82 million contract.

I mean TT's no Evan Turner but I'm alright with it.

How would one determine how to allocate the luxury tax expenses. The Cavs didn't pay the tax because of this contract, they paid it because of all of them.

After the finals this looks like an absolute bargain. Last year I thought it was one of the worst contracts I've ever seen.

People who thought it was a super bad deal when it happened just didn't watch what Thompson does for the Cavs. I'm a big Kevin Love believer. I think he's underrated at this point, but Thompson is the Cavs' third most important player.

you think this is funny look at the thread with people bashing the Hornets for what they paid to lock up Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. they look like ****ing geniuses now locking up their 2 best young players for like 12 mil a piece
