King David should open that chit up. He's going harpooning tonight and he has the KD initials. It's a sign

I suppose we needed a seperate thread because the heated Wade debate was disrupting the usual pointless chatter and beat to death inside jokes that normally fill our threads?

Shambles indeed.

Seriously though guis. We should trade dragic/mcbob/Whiteside/bosh/winslow/Richardson and give wade a $50m contract. Its the only way we will win a championship. The logic is all there just see:

Lebron max- champion
Irving max- champion
Love max- champion
Thompson max- champion

So

Wade supermax- super champion.

Stop being obtuse guis. Pay the man.

This made me almost spit out my water because its so true. I actually had to say something about Bosh to even get it back about basketball again

The majority of the board doesn't want to pay Wade market value and they simply don't want to read posts from people who do. That's all this is.

And to attack another false narrative, somebody is gonna have to show me how paying \wade is supposed to hurt us when ALL the rotation pieces are pretty much locked up long term. Outside of the Durant pipe dream, who is Wade taking less for when Dellavadova just got 10 mil a year.

You think Wade is taking 15 instead of 25 for the pleasure of that level player? The money is gone, just accept it. This is NOT a Kobe situation where it was a lottery team with pretty much no vets. Kobe's salary hampered the rebuild..Miami has vet players they were perfectly happy to commit to until the end of the decade.

I think that Wade and Riley can work it out. Wade definitely deserves to get paid. He's our biggest hero. A pillar, as Pat called him.

No one wants to feel like they're being left out to dry, but Durant is a HUGE addition if attainable. Hassan is willing to give some wiggle room, and I think Wade is too. He's just not tweeting it whilst on his banana boat. The media is stirring up a story out of scraps. That's their job.

If we can't get Durant, then give Wade the majority of what's left.

Dirk has given discount after discount for years and the Mavs have done nothing in return. I'm sure a part of him has regretted it. So I don't fault Wade at all for wanting his respectable share of the team's payroll, especially if he's the man of that team. But Riley as the decision maker of that team has to steer the team in the right direction, and if it's swapping a 34 yr old star for a 27 yr old prime target, I'm not mad at that. Wade is my favorite player, but I root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. I'll be happy if he's in camp later, and I'll miss him if he's gone. But he's gonna be gone eventually, so I trust the process.

That's how I see it. If Durant doesn't come, there's nobody we could sign that'd make us much better. Look at the prices for bang average players. Hence you can't ask Wade for a discount because you can't justify it.

What I'm more concerned about with Wade is the length of his contract. He's the only one we could work with in terms of flexibility, yet seem to have pissed him off to a point that I doubt that'll be negotiable.

go back from whence you came.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
