Ian actually can be a solid starting center for about 3 years... fine...especially since 16 mil is about the market rate for a starting center.... but why do we need two? Money needed to go to a 4... How much would Nicholson or T.Jones cost now? :/

Solid defensively. Decent rebounder Not really a rim protector but he did start all 71 games last year that he played. That's the going rate for a starting center, which is strange because I thought we had one

Agreed, in a vacuum the going rate for an above average center should be about this... but Gortat is BETTER... there was no reason to acquire him.. Unless they trade gortat... which I fear since they'll attach Porter/Oubre to em... it makes no sense at all. We needed a 4... not a 5...and a 30 year old one at that...

I'd like to think there's a greater plan in all this but who are we fooling? Ernie is just grabbing bodies at this point. And it's looking more and more like KD is going to Boston. East is stacked. We aren't going anywhere and Wall is gone when his contract is up. We're back at square one. Awesome.
