No way Wade's taking a starting salary of $14M after taking discounts for years and seeing how all the scrubs are getting paid big money. That's the most Heat could offer if they're maxing KD. Safe to say Heat are out at this point? Or with Pat the Rat you never know?

I am honest to a fault and I do like KD's titles chance the best with the Warriors but when you factor in everything else such as legacy and real chance to beat Lebron in the playoffs, I would advise him to go to Boston!

Cleveland is not in position to get better unless they rob some sucker team in a Kevin Love trade. No reason to be overly afraid of them.

Warriors without KD could go either way after next season.

Rest of the EC besides Philly if they do some really good moves over the next year or two and hit on Simmons seems like a bunch of treadmill teams.

Danny Ainge should have Vlade on speed dial. IT / Bradley / Durant / Horford / Cousins is sickening.

Might be the best $30,000 investment the team ever made.....fingers crossed.

Durant has failed numerous times on many chances to get out of the West over the years. Last year is another example.

His path is much cleaner if he goes to the east, it's literally him vs Lebron every year in the ECF guaranteed whereas he has even failed to make it to the conference finals a number of times in the West.

I don't want KD if he is foolish enough to pick Miami over BOS and GSW. No rational person concerned with winning could pick Miami right now over Bos and GSW.

If KD is overly concerned with the weather pick GSW. If he isn't and is concerned with potentially maximizing his legacy pick BOS.

If he is mostly about loyalty and is ok with a Karl Malone/John Stockton career and possibly winning 1 title like Dirk pick OKC.

The rest of the choices I don't think make sense and they never made enough sense if you think about it.

If I'm not mistaken wouldn't it be possible with a little maneuvering to resign sully? I've not been a big fan of his but it might be something to consider for more depth but also a contract that could be used to help match contracts down the road. That's kind of the issue with trades for us right now IT, Crowder, Bradley are part of the core but also our highest contracts (besides horford). Other than that we have a bunch of young guys on rookie scale contracts. Just made me think if we somehow get lucky and pull this off that we should consider bringing Sully back.

Again I haven't been a fan of his, but not sure what else we can get that would be similar without cap room. Even if we signed and traded him somewhere that would be fine too. I want us to continue to be able to grow this team if we get Durant and having Sully back might surprisingly help more than I thought it would.

I think ainge goes hard at a trade for Cousins if KD signs. I guess it depends on what the asking prices is though. I would assume both nets picks are on the table, but the question will be players.

Right but we have to have salaries match. Best case scenario for us is they are interested in Sully or Zeller and we can sign and trade them. That might not work I don't think you can add players in a s&t, believe me I don't care for either player but we might need to consider this if we are going to acquire More talent.

Idk about that...

Read what I said **** I said I like his chances in the east better lol

It reads like your saying you'd like KD chances in the East once LeBron declines.

Well LeBron isn't declining yet, certainly not next season, so yeah....

Dude. Read his post five posts above the one you responded to.

He was saying he thinks we have a good shot to land Durant and that perhaps he's including Lebron's decline in his decision and you're making it out like he said something bad about us?

You might not like him but Lebron is a fantastic basketball player. Orlwillbeback meant nothing negative.

Abby Chin went over the salary implications for Durant last night on tv...

Seems Durant would lose at least $10Million in taxes if he chooses GSW over the Celtics....Straw grasping I know.

Ummmm,
If he goes to the Warriors they pretty much obliterate the path with an All NBA ALL Star Team lineup... :)

At this point it is what it is. If Kevin Durant comes to Boaston that's good , if he stays in Oklahoma, that's ok too.
