Durant is someone who I always liked unlike Lebron. I can't even imagine if he signs with the Celtics and what I would do.

I didn't even watch basketball last season but I'll be damned if my heart isn't palpitating like a **** right now.

I don't recall this, he just didn't have a very good supporting cast around him, Spreewell and Cassell was as good as it got for him.

People were talking about how he was a loser who couldn't get it done in the playoffs, how he deferred too much to his teammates, and all sorts of other dumb stuff that basically came down to "I can't figure out any way to criticize him that isn't a product of how terrible his teammates are".

I certainly don't want the C's to trade away any of the pitch meeting participants for at least a year. It is bad karma.

I dont know how many others remember this, but Danny got in trouble for tampering with Durant while he was at Texas. He's been in on KD for about a decade now and if it wasnt for that then we would have no chance at all. Durant obviously values loyalty which is a plus for the Celts/Ainge and nearly neutral for OKC. It sounds counter-intuitive but I think Durant looks at OKC as being somewhat sheisty for leaving Seattle and wouldnt necessarily feel bad leaving them in turn.

Ya or na?

Crowder was at the meeting. That'd be such a junky move on the Celtics' FO part in terms of loyalty unless Durant literally requires it. If Durant comes, I think they are gonna try to go at it with the current roster as is (at least it's my hope). Trading the BKN picks + any of the core should be last resort if we need to bolster the roster at the deadline or next season.

Jae is also a pretty great pairing with KD, because they both provide defensive versatility but Jae can take the pounding from 4's or just defend the bigger wing threat.

No Butler for me if KD's already here. I'd consider it if KD goes elsewhere. Need a defensive big to pair with Horford either way though I'm cool with Amir for another year.
