Just picture a Cavs/GSW finals and the Cavs win again. LeBron would be a God to everyone. Took down the 73 win juggernaut for the title this year and takes down the Super-team juggernaut for the title next year.

But they won't lose.

Yeah, doubt they will. Sounds like it's between GSW and BOS. With OKC now out.. at least from our boards.

Durant's last meeting with OKC just ended (according to Stein). So its decision time for him.

That meeting was quick. But if I was leaving the organization, I wouldn't want to hang around and talk either. GS it is. Seriously, Boston fans are delusional if you think he's playing there.

Pick the WARRIORS KD!!!

Just like nobody gives a sh&t about Karl Malone, Charles Barkley or Reggie Miller? Those guys are legends, with or without a ring. Especially if he goes Reggie's way and stays in OKC his entire career, he'll be even more of a legend if that happens.

Don't pick the Warriors KD!!! Beat 'em, don't join 'em. If you want to leave OKC, go to Boston. At least don't take the easy route.

If the only thing he cares about is winning "the right way", then yes the obvious choice is to stay. But it's naive to think that's the only consideration there is.

Or he quickly let OKC know he's staying, so there was nothing to talk about. You're kind of just talking out your ass.

I would still like to wait on word more official than some gambling guy with a name I can't pronounce never mind spell, but if he goes this route I hope this thin skinned wannabe is ready for the villain role. Because it's coming. Guy has gotten a free pass all these years and loves to lash out at the media for treatment. He ain't seen nothing yet

It's basketball and entertainment. Not life or death. But alright, you can judge Durant's character for joining whatever team he feels like he'll enjoy the most for whatever reason.

Oh Dre, easy to speak from your high throne of being on the verge to easily add a Top 10 player to your already young/in prime/balin out roster that just went 73-9 and was a nut punch away from a back-to-back title. SHAME. :P

But yea, if KD goes to you guys, my dog will die. This IS life or death. lmao.

I hope the sarcasm and the fact this response is supposed to be funny and totally agree with your sentiment Dre' in order to avoid miscommunication. lol. I know you get it Dre, haha. :D

Good luck, I know you guys are rooting to be rather paying KD 26mil than HB @ 22mil now. Mark Cuban f'd you guys, well not really but I'm sure Dubs' would've rather addressed Barnes after knowing what KD decided than if in the event KD says no, now you stare a giant bag of a dog poop of a contract waiting to be matched for HB. Can't wait to see how it plays out.
Come at the king, you best not miss...

Wouldn't exactly be long if he had decided to stay either. Not much you can gather from that.

If he was going back to OKC, would he have them fly out to NY to tell them that?

OKC may have asked for the final meeting hoping to have gotten Horford. But since they didn't ...

Boston offers the chance where he will more then likely be a top 2 team for the foreeable future in boston. if boston has a top 3 record, which is likely with durant on board....he is gonna win multiple MVPs there, have a great chance to get to the finals every year and win championships

Scoring titles, MVPs would happen in boston with great chances at titles every year

its why boston is in the convo, that and them being a historic franchise (which is a factor but not the main reason)

Well, umm, he's gotta beat LBJ 1st and LeBron kind of owns KD AND Horford's soul as well as this current iteration of BOS roster this past year.

So yea, I wouldn't start counting our chickens before they hatched. But I don't disagree, BOS would def. be a player goin forward and have said many times, I'd like to see KD in BOS now but totally understand why he would stay in OKC.

I think consensus, if KD goes to Dubs', on one hand, we as fans will be like, wow, what a group but on the other hand, Dubs' will most likely be hated more than 2010 Heat around the league, possibly. So many possibilities.

Yeah, they totally owned Boston this past year.

Not that it matters at all, but we got totally screwed at the end of that game. Pretty sure the NBA officiating report that came out later confirmed it.

And I just found it:

http://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2016/02/L2M-BOS-CLE-2-5-16.pdf

That JR foul call was laughable and illustrates the bias that the referees hold against him.

Again...no hard feelings though. :D

If KD goes to the Warriors I hope the Cavs slap them. If KD goes to Boston, I hope the Raptors beat them. The guy doesn't even give us a meeting, smh.

I think he's leaving. If he was inclined to stay, he would have called them and told them there was no need for a second meeting.

Congrats. It took a great shot by AB to get them to 1-6 in their last 7 games played. 3-8 in new LBJ era and 2 of those wins came at the end of 2015 season where Cavs were resting guys and the 1 CLE win came with Rondo still on the team.

But I suppose from your standpoint, you might think BOS is just as equal as CLE or something. I don't know what motivated you to go find that jpg or what point you're trying to point but good try.

I'm just messing with you, dude. Don't take it so seriously. lol. Even if KD shocked people and chose to go to Boston, Cleveland is still the team to beat in the east.

I'm rooting for KD in Boston.

Celtics are a terrific franchise with an amazing young coach. Brings parity between the conferences and I'd look forward to seeing BOS/CLE match ups.

I think 20+ other teams are rooting for Boston as well here. No one outside of Oakland/SF wants KD in GSW
